This hotel provides good lunch. The varieties in the meals are great. The rate for meals is reasonable with those curries. The side dishes are mainly fish varieties. Can get chicken as well. The arrangements are nice and neatly done inside. The rates of the fishes seems to be on higher side Parking is a real problem as they don't have any designated parking
I visited the place thinking it was still owned by Thakkaram but later realised the name and management changed. Had lunch with squid roast and prawns fry. The food was good all curries tasted like home made.
Of the many good pace to enjoy food, this will be one of the place where u can njoy not just good Kerala style food, but also the ambience and fun of eating as much as you want on a bannana leave. Also a fresh bannana, picked by self adds to a perfect finish
The service was very good .And it is a best place for who love sea food . verities of dishes are there.The meals was an average. For one meal it cost 120 .And for all other sea food dishes it cost more than 100 . One of the best was neyy meen .
For those who have been to the old hotels and kerala mess, would understand the ambience tried out at the place... Food is comparatively cheaper and well above average... worth the money... Their spread of daily seadfood items are generous and nominally charged... Just enough to make you full and satisfied, amd probably have a dessert elsewhere... don't get me wrong, their payasam was not bad at all... Could it improve? I would say yes... they can improvise and be one of the best in that area, where only a few have shined brightly in Trivandrum.
