Salkara Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

Salkara have multiple branches in calicut. I went to the one near to Aster MIMS Hospital. We tried a half portion of chicken Biriyani as we couldn't have the full portion as we feared the food might get wasted. The Biriyani was excellent, it was leghorn chicken. So had much better flavor imo. Both the rice and chicken were well cooked and were soft and flavorful. Sides like pickle, curd salad, were also nice. Pappadam wasn't upto the mark, it wasn't a good quality product. The Biriyani masala had great spice flavor. But the Masala quantity was on the higher side. Maybe they accidently put it for full portion. Not an issue though. What was an issue though was their centralized AC. it had good cooling but didn't seem to be maintained properly as water droplets were constantly getting sprayed over in some places. Not sure what all health hazards are await. Please rectify the issue.

So, visited this place in the morning for breakfast. And , the place was well maintained & cleaned. And the vibes were good here. Also, staffs were friendly & well behaved. (out of 5) Taste- Presentation- Ambience- Recommended- So, the food was made well & good. I tried - 1. Mango Shake 2. Roti 3. Gobhi Chilly The taste of food was good & well made. Also, you can visit this place with your friends or family.

Quality food and hygienic atmosphere. But the service was poor, taste was average. Biryani was good. On a second instance I was surprised to hear the arrogance of the customer service person when I called them on last Ramzan day for taking a delivery order, person even asked me to wait on a roll and asked to come and collect or otherwise to end the call. Foolish or not, if it was rush then just say orders are closed at the moment. Limited parking space.

The food is excellent , service is very good . The place was crowded as bit. But that did not affect much . Over all must try .

Ordered from salkara with lots of expectations (based on previous experiences at the other branches). Ambience is good but unfortunately the dishes ordered were not up-to the mark. Required improvement on the curries to meet the customer expectations. Ordered items: Gobi 65 Paneer 65 Must try: Fresh milk tea, biriyani

Please don't choose here! Not value for money. High price low quality food. Ambience is ok. 4 small pieces 1 portion 65 =223+tax

Best atmosphere, friendly staff, extension of famous paragon group. Elaneer pudding is nice! Very clean and calm. Waiting time is also comparitively less.

Food tasted very good here.. we had a great dinner and breakfast here.. the service was a bit slow. They ran out of dishes very soon.. seating in the restaurant was very few. So better go early to get a taste of all food items.
