Tried porotta and malabari chicken curry both are very good with taste. Only porotta and chapathi are available un breakfast menu . Some snacks also available there .
Pros: - Food is tasty - Order doesn't take much time Negatives: - Some of the staffs behaviour is not good - This hotel is crowded and inadequate space inside, so finding a seating is difficult. - Poor washroom facilities - Limited parking space
The perfect meal that i had in Kerala was at Salkara. The place is small with more customers every day. So you have to wait outside until a table is vacant. The best thing of this place is the beef dishes they serve. One of the best beef dishes I've ever tried. Do check their vast menu also go for Beef Pepper(gravy) & Appam, you'll like it!
Below average experience, got half baked porotta and chapati.. Recommend to avoid unless extremely urgent.. The quality of food and service reduced like anything over a period.. hope management does something for improvement.
It's tough to get a seat here during rush hours however once you get inside, the experience is worth it. The service and attentiveness is equitable to a five star restaurant. The food is flavourful and pocket friendly. If you are entering the city or leaving it, Salkara should be your first stop for meals.

One of my favourites restaurant in Kozhikode. Breakfast is the most liked one. Appam and stew is the best combination. Egg curry is also awesome.
Been to salkara wayanad road in the non AC section.Fairly priced but shocked when they charged rs 280+tax for half portion fish mulagitta curry(single piece). Food & service good.

Love the food served here. Special mention to the amazing samoosa and gulab jamun. The chai, pav bhaji were also really yum. Very reasonable pricing also.
