Salem RR Briyani Unavagam - Biryani restaurant in Chennai, Kotivakkam - Chennai, India

Located inside ECR food street. This is available in the entrance itself. Parking facilities in the food street are available. Not sure this is a branch of traditional Salem RR biriyani. This is a medium size dine in. No restroom facility. Chicken Biryani is superb, quality and quantity is good when we try. Mutton Biriyani is below average. Smoky flavor, salty, no quality, taste. Not worth the price. Better try only chicken biriyani.

If you go before one o'clock you won't get biryani because the biryani van has not arrived yet, the salesman say. They kept the shop open without biryani

Please don't even give a try. Lot of bad experience i faced. Biryani was too cold while I am asking he told me to digg with my finger inside the biryani.. first time I am hearing such a pathetic answer from a restaurant management. All of a sudden i cancelled rest of my orders. While I am asking for raitha he said it's over.. then why the heck you receiving the customer or taking the order. Such a worst ever experience i faced. See i am foodie I know not everytime you can meet the customer expectations. But this scenario was completely unacceptable. Makkaleyy please be cautious before choosing this hotel. Even if your friends giving you a free treat also please don't go.

Briyani is awesome in taste. Quantity is good and the quality also. This place is very quiet and good looking. We can park our Car and Bike there are lots of space to park our vehicles. Staffs are polite and good in taking orders from the customers. The price is also affordable only based upon the dishes.

Won't consider visiting them again. Asked for mutton chukka for parcel and they gave mutton gravy. They didn't even consider to say sorry when I reported it. Very ignorant...

Wast of food & Wast of money. Even in street biryani was to good.

Briyani was OK OK...... Tomato soup had a salty taste.... Tandoori chicken was overcooked... But I loved walnut brownie to the core ...and even falooda was good.. My niece is a sweet lover n she enjoyed to the core

I would simply suggest people to avoid this place. I went in for a late lunch They just had Meals and briyani. I ordered one veg and one non veg meals. The food was terrible and the waiters were reluctant to serve or look for any further orders. They were just standing by a corner and in to their phones. A Big No to people who are looking for a good lunch in ECR.
