It was a good travel experience from Chennai to Salem. The airport & Indigo 6e staff was very so friendly and so helpful & so welcoming too . The ambiance and airport was very neat & clean since its was newly started from few days ago... thanks to AAI staffs & indigo 6e team
Small airport and the airport is far from the salem city. Facilities are very less in this airport and dnt expect and compare to other domestic airport.
The prestigious airport of Salem district. Few flights are operated from here to Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin.
A small but Nice airport, should start more services, for the benefits of people from districts nearby. Transport to and fro Airport from the nearest bus terminals would be more helpful.
Salem airport is well and good. But it will improve to international level. Because dharmapuri , krishnagiri, namakkal, erode people will benefit.
Located slightly outside the city..But it is a good option for Salem ppl instead of going to CJB/CBE or BLR or MAA, since we have a good onward connection through BLR and HYD.
Salem is fifth largest city in Tamil nadu but the airport is domestic in feature it should be in fifth an International airport in Tamil nadu and it need another run way it's more useful it needed another run way
Salem at last has restarted the airport , thanks to CM . This airport is very small maybe one of the smallest airport but the good thing is that it's functioning. Trujet has daily flights to Chennai from Salem Salem airport to Chennai airport Meenambakkam airport MAS
