Sal River - Water in Navelim Village - default, India

A beautiful small river which starts in Verna and ends in Betul. Unfortunately this river is being used to dump garbage by many illiterate dirty people who will end up making this river a gutter. If any of those people are reading- PLEASE DON'T POLLUTE OUR BEAUTIFUL SAL RIVER AND BEAUTIFUL GOA and If you can't stop polluting then please get out of Goa!!

Sal river meets arebian sea at Betul beach Salcete district south Goa.Very scenic from the redorts which are situated in between Sal river on one side and Cavelossim beach at other.

Beautiful...there are some restaurants on the river side..we can enjoy dinner there. We may get some fresh catch to buy on the way. there are spots for fishing as well.

Place is Nice. Good ambience. Only disadvantage is it's located a little far away from main road.

Wonderful place. The view is great. If you like to fish, then this is your place! Hardly any people here. So you can calmly fish in peace. We caught some ray fish too! I tried uploading pictures, but there were some errors.

This water stream reaches till assolna.Where im quite familiar there.This water is very clean and has variety of fishes.Due to this many people come to fish here. :-)
