A very nice guest house with simple but adequate rooms. The monks are quite kind and hospitable. It is located in first camp. Good location for visitors to Bylakuppe.
This is one of the guest houses inside the settlement run be one of the Monastry. Compared to Sera Jey, this place was more remote and bit isolated. The rooms were ok but normal double room charge was 950/- per day. Unlike Sera Jey guest house, this one doesn't have a canteen or other facilities. But if you are looking for a very quite and calm place, to detach from the busy world, then this is a good choice. But if you prefer a more active and happening area, then Sera Jey guest house would be the best option.
Peaceful, calm and serene. Basic hotel rooms at modest prices. Decent canteen. Tibetan culture is felt as monestry is at stone's throw distance.
Lovely guesthouse within the Sakya monastery premises. Very quaint and quiet! Don't expect luxury. As of now, a double bedroom with a tv and attached bathroom costs 800rs. The contact numbers are not available online. You can always enquire in the guesthouse directly, most of the time they have vacancies unless pre booked for a function or event. Worth the visit. Loads of friendly dogs present!
Guest house is clean and perfect. room service is perfect.u can also book a hall for party and all.and yeah they also do cook.we can order a food like veg and non veg
Great place to stay near Kushalnagar . Rooms start from Rs700. Its a monastery guest house(its a pretty big place) maintained by local tibetan community almost 2km away from golden temple. People around are very humble and friendly. Its a mini tibet in Karnataka Coorg (codagu) distinct.strongly recommended. Also visit kotte betta its a off road ride around 16 km from sakya guest house
A quite peaceful nd beautiful place but occasionally spoilt by local Indians who wud come booze, sing, dance, play loud music, create nuisance nd worse of all, the management will not say a word.. And ya these are not guests.. It's suppose to be a monastery premise, shame on Sakya monastery for allowing this
Very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Room prices are very reasonable. You have to be a cheap donkey if you bargain for the room prices here.
