Shakya guest house has clean big rooms with AC but no geyser. The 80-foot statue and Mahabodhi temple can be reached by E-rickshaw (Rs10/passenger). It has no kitchen. So not even a tea is available which is a big drawback. Its located at 5minute drive from the main road.
The Rooms are absolutely Neat and Clean. 2 single bed in one room. The staff is amazing. Hotel is 1.5 km from Bodhgaya Temple. Rickshaw would take Rs 30 from Temple to Hotel. And it is approx 18km from Gaya Railway Station, Auto would charge Rs 250 to 300.
This guest house, at Suxena Rd , is situated in a distance about 1km or more from the Mahabodhi temple . Hospitality is not up to the mark. The usable materials of the guest room is not good. The personel of the guest house seems have no liability. You have to go far for fooding or breakfast. The entry road is very bad. But you can enjoy the opened top. You have to go 100mts or more for booking auto or toto. But above all it can change its status.
