Sakleshpura is a great place for weekend trip and stay.
Decent place to stay for 2 families, situated in basement so no view.. host is helpful..basic amenities like washing machine, gas, mini fridge was available.. however the price is on a higher side.. don't follow Google maps to reach this location as it takes you to a different place..
Wonderful nature mansoon time best place
One of the best resort I have visited till now is Vana Vally Retreat, Sakleshpur. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. Rooms are well maintained and very spacious. From the balcony, we could view the pool and feel the cool breeze. Early morning mist and the sound of the birds were perfect for a peaceful start of the day. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. They took care of every detail about our food preference. Very cooperative and friendly staff. The owners of the resort Mr. Ravishankar and Mr. Jagadish were the perfect hosts . Good ambience and a homely atmosphere made our weekend vacation a memorable one.
Overall its a good experience.l recommended go for camping.rather then hotel.
We got excellent trekking iternery and advise to choose the best location to stay. The stay was offbeat and remote adjoining western ghats.heaven for those who want To get cut off from routine life. There is no electricity or phone network.... Only sound you can hear is sounds of birds and wildlife around.there is a waterfalls in the property where you can spend good time lazing around in afternoon.
Nice place to hang out.... 30 km Roads are not soo great....
