Sakleshpur is a hill station in the Western Ghats mountain range, in India's Karnataka state. It's surrounded by slopes covered with tea, coffee and spice plantations. The 18th-century, star-shaped Manjarabad Fort has sweeping mountain views. Trails lead to biodiverse Bisle Reserve Forest, home to cobras, deer and birds. To the northeast, Jenukallu Gudda peak offers vistas stretching as far as the Arabian Sea. Sakleshpur is famous for its places of tourist interest like Manjarabad Fort, Hadlu Waterfalls, Ayyappa Swamy Temple, Bisle ghat viewpoint and adventure places like Murkannu Gudda and Jenukal Gudda Hill. Also known as one of the best hill stations in south India, Sakleshpur is a trekker's paradise. Many hills can be climbed for those majestic views of the Ghat section. Most of the treks are of beginner's level and can be enjoyed by all age groups. Sakleshpur Karnataka is best visited between the months of November to February. Because it is peak season, expect a little crowd at this time. During peak season, the Sakleshpur weather is excellent with a bright sky. The months of March and April have mild weather.

It needs to attract a trendy crowd, for that maintenance is required. Proper path way, benches, may introduce water peddle boating, etc

Its a good park, with jogging track around the lake..nice place to spend your evening.

Lake park located on the sakalespura, good for family relaxing. Can visit if wants to have change from natural places. TO enjoy this lake fully, recommend to visit this place on afternoon. there is a temple near by the park , Do carry a good binocular and a SLR to capture birds smtg nature..best park in skp.

Its very good place to Walking, Jogging in the Morning and Evening time. Park maintenance is average, need to improve more. Nice and neat surrounding.
