Saj By The Lake - Hotel in Junnar - Pune, India

Property has very beautiful view. Staff is polite and courteous. Apart from that we didn't find anything worthwhile during our stay. Rooms are not maintained. They have seepage marks. Torn and dirty towel was kept in our room. There were blood stains on the bed sheet. We had paid 12.5k for 1 day for 2adults and a kid. I m sorry to say, but it's not at all worth it. Breakfast was so disappointing. Limited menu. Bread was not fresh. Butter and jam quality was so cheap. Only 4 to 5 options were available in breakfast. Our package also included dinner but there was no buffet in the dinner. It was so limited. No mutton n fish. There was only one sweet dish both the days. Highly disappointed. Would never recommend it to anyone.

Nice huge property near the Malshej lake. Rooms are reasonably clean but considering the food prices, They wish to market it as four star property but there are not many amenities including options for a big group. Worth visiting in monsoon. They should include breakfast in room rate for more acceptability

I visited this place in September 2023. Here is my 6-point review. 1. The location of this resort is excellent. You can enjoy a splendid lake view from the rooms on the first floor, especially the village brick rooms. 2. The staff's behavior was good, though not exceptional. 3. The size of the room was adequate. I stayed in the suite room, which had a spacious living room and bedroom. The toilet was clean, tidy, and equipped with proper toiletries. 4. The linen was clean, and we had no issues with it whatsoever. 5. In the evening, we had tea at the Lake View Cafe. Unfortunately, the tea was disappointing and quite expensive (125 + taxes). As a result, we decided to have all our meals outside. There is an excellent restaurant called "Blue Deck Restaurant" (Blue Water Resorts) about a kilometer ahead of this resort, which we found to be very good. 6. Despite being listed as a 4-star property on various travel sites, the maintenance was subpar. There were visible seepage patches all over the room. Additionally, there was a peculiar smell in the room that could have been addressed with a diffuser or similar solution. However, aside from room freshener spray, the staff did not have any alternatives. The room freshener also only worked for a few minutes. Overall, the experience was good, but the beverages were a major disappointment. We did not try the food here, as it did not match the pictures and ratings shared on different platforms. Not a value-for-money option.

Excellent place in between the nature. Lake visible from the outer rooms.. good quite place. Rooms are good and view is amazing. Cycling is fun outside near the lake. Food is ok... Breakfast needs improvement. You can watch sparrows which is rare in other places. Bit ahead boating is there.. did not try though. Approach from road is good.. road is also fairly ok except for a few patches. Lake facing Room are not wheelchair friendly.. so if needed take inner rooms.

Stays was serene and calm place is good but your own transportation reach there also food best but expensive.Wifi connection is poor but overall good I want cut off from world and just ralx Good for relaxation. Thanks Saj by the lake for making our weekend memorable. Will recommend others.

The vibes of this place is good. Located near a lake. The hospitality is also up to the standards. The only thing they need to work upon is the food continental food quality and availability of wifi. No room has wifi connectivity and there are only few network services. They can also include some bon fire or set up a barbecue near the pool in the evening Overall a nice place to rejuvenate!!

The location of the property is amazing and lake view room has mesmerising views of the lake. The food is also tasty and authentic. Rooms are very clean and rustic. Only issue is with the Wifi. The wifi only works in the reception area and not in the rooms. Since airtel does not have network in this area, it becomes a problem in terms of zero connectivity. The property surely needs to make some arrangement for wifi connectivity in rooms. Also, if you are selecting lake view rooms- please make sure you get upper floor rooms. They are truly lake view rooms.

The property has a perfect location among the hills , clouds, lake and chirping birds. Room with courtyard had very good view. The property is perfect to relax and have a good weekend. Hotel had organised a walk by the lake and a trek ( as a feedback this inclusions should be mentioned here so that you can carry your trek gear) Mahesh was our guide for the walk , it was a delight how he was so patient throughout , helping everyone navigate and also a superb photographer :) Food was clearly the highlight it was a good spread and very good prepration Feedback 1. Courtyard should have a small shade so that sitting could be set up to enjoy the weather
