This is the legendary Saitjee chaat in Srirangam. They have a good history in the business here and it speaks in their service. I visited the place recently after 5 years after moving out of Srirangam. I was pleasantly surprised to be received with familiarity. That too, late in the evening, at about 10 PM when they were almost closing for the day. The items were warm enough to enjoy and delicious as always have they been. The place has a couple of small tables with 3-4 chairs for each. In the evenings, I can feel it would get jampacked. There's no particular food item that's my favorite from here. But I would easily recommend Samosa Masala Puri and Fried Pav Bhaji. There is no parking for the place but the road/street is wide enough to park two-wheelers and not disturb the traffic.
This is my most regular chat restorent we go. We eat everything best especially the panner pavbagi is very super. The servent sister was very sweet all the items we loved pls everyone visit this when you comming to srirangam ragavendrar madam
Food was good. Despite crowd at shop, people attend with care, patience. Good varieties of chat items. Good to go for evening snacks.

I have personally seen this shop grow from a basic pull cart to a full fledged store with seating. Thronged by the locals sure to its hygienic and vegetarian food, the shop offers a very good selection of chaats. The "kaalaan" (mushroom) is a must try!
