A walkway along the Chenab river in Akhnoor, where one can catch a great sunrise. A lot of people are here for their morning walk and exercises. The old & new bridges on the Jammu - Poonch road can be seen from here. I was informed by the residents that the place is filled with bathers during the summer & rainy seasons when the river is full of water.
Place for peace and serenity on bank of river chenab at historical Akhnoor town.Natural colors are a must witness .Morning sunrise is heavenly .
Chenab riverbed at Akhnoor is great place to hangout. It is one of the best places to visit around jammu. Riverbed is well developed by J&K tourism department, very green, lots of flower, picturesque view and cool breez. There is a nearby temple and a gurudwara also. The only thing missing is there is hardly any tea shop along the river.
