Saint George's Church - Protestant church in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

initially, this rating that i have given is not for the church. I visited this place to attend ceremonies. earlier my pals marriage reception became held right here and Now some other celebration turned into there. So each the times i used to be there for exceptional cause so my rating does not relate to the church in any respect. there may be a small corridor to have meals and there is lots of region to put together the food so folks who lives near the church select the area for such purpose. The washroom become neat and clean and typical the region became smooth. you can not say it became very lovely place or the atmosphere changed into very pleasant seeing that a church is a different type of location you may count on not anything extra but for this type of small occassions its a terrific vicinity. I guess its reasonably-priced too.

Very peaceful place for prayer and devotion within walking distance off CIT Road.

First of all, this rating that I have given is not for the church. I visited this place to attend ceremonies. earlier my friends marriage reception was held Here and Now another birthday party was there. So both the times I was there for different purpose so my rating doesn't relate to the church at all. there is a small Hall to have food and there is a lot of place to prepare the food so people who lives near the church choose the place for such purpose. The washroom was neat and clean and overall the place was clean. you cannot say it was very lovely place or the Ambience was very nice since a church is a different kind of place you can expect nothing more but for this kind of small occassions its a good place. I guess its cheap too.

The Church was closed at this afternoon time, hence my impression is seeing the church from the main gate. It's looks to be a serene place and kept with great care to maintain cleanliness along with tidyness. This Church was established in 1835 and from look of it we can presume that utmost care coupled with proper maintenance is very much in evidence. From all above we can conclude that respect along with love and sincerity makes the Church standing straight with head high up.

We did pre gathering Christmas at this church.the father of this church is very well behaved and a very good man... hopefully we will do our love feast to that church in a next month.

This church is nestled between buildings and is pretty hard to notice from the main road. Its a small parish church which also rents out their grounds for weddings and other small congregations. Moreover they also organize classes and vocational training for the youth as well as bible classes for those interested

Very homely atmosphere. Pastor himself a loveable person and those who are in the committee members they are also very friendly and honest.

Though small...it is very nice and you get the serene and peaceful feeling.
