Mannanam Saint Chavara pilgrim centre is the main centre related to Saint Chavara who is regarded as educational reformist in India. He is founder of christian CMI congregation which runs the renowned Christ/Rajagiri/Chavara/KE institutions across major cities in India. Mannnam is a serene place which has a very ancient church of historic importance. The school near by is also one of the pioneer educational institution of the country.
It's a church made by Father Kuriakose Elias of Chavara. It's now a pilgrim centre.The mortal remains of this saintly priest is preserved here. Many people visit this place every day. More than a pilgrim centre, it's a calm and quiet place. The church is placed at the top of the hill, so that you can enjoy the beautiful sunset from here, that's a beautiful view. The atmosphere is positive. This church is famous in movies also. Some Malayalam movies include Spadikam, varnappakit, etc filmed here.

The church at Mannanam houses tomb of St. Chavara. Holy mass timings and confession timings given in the picture. A very peaceful place. There is a spiritual park ,chavara museum, stall for pious articles and a scenic surrounding. Near to college and school. Has a small refreshment stall. Good parking space. Drinking water for public made available.
