Sainagar Shirdi railway station (station code: SNSI) is a major railway station serving the city of Shirdi, Maharashtra state, India. Sainagar Shirdi is a railway terminus and belongs to Central Railways of Indian Railways. It is located at about 3 km from the Holy Divine Temple of Shri Sai Baba. Shri Sai Baba Mandir is the most famous and most visited Shrine of India. Lakhs of people come every day to seek blessings from Shri Sai Baba with the help of this railway station. Temple authority Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust runs free buses from the station to the Temple. The station has two waiting halls one for Upper Class and one for General Class ticket holders. The waiting halls are big which handle large number of passengers. The station have cloak room and lockers.The railway track ends at Shirdi railway station and no train leaves further. You will get trains from all directions of India. The 17.5 km (11 mi)-long Puntamba-Shirdi link, connecting the holy city of Shirdi to the Manmad-Daund branch line was completed in 2009. Work began in 2003. The new railway station, Sainagar Shirdi is well connected with many direct trains to different places.

You will find the station not so crowded during the weekdays. 24X7 ATM just diagonal to the ticket booking and enquiry counter. Ample space for parking and a small park just after getting out of the station. No escalators & No ramps. But you would find two staircases on either side, on the left hand side, the staircase is accommodated with a passenger lift.

I recently traveled from Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai to Sainagar Shirdi, and my experience at the station was quite positive. The station is well-maintained, but there are a few aspects that could be improved for the convenience of elderly passengers. Adding railings and support on the overbridge would be beneficial. Although the station is generally clean, some drinking water areas appeared to be less tidy. Additionally, be cautious of local rickshaw owners outside the station, as there have been instances of attempted scams. Overall, a good experience with some areas for enhancement.

Area of railway station is very neat and clean. It contains of canteen along with waiting halls (AC and General waiting hall).

Shirdi is a town in the state of Maharashtra, in western India. It's known as the former home of revered spiritual leader Sai Baba, and as a major pilgrimage site. Devotees gather daily at the Sai Baba Temple complex to honor his legacy. Here, the Samadhi Mandir shrine has an ornate marble statue of Sai Baba, alongside his tomb. Close by are Dwarkamai, a mosque where Sai Baba once lived, and tree-lined Lendi Garden.

Less than 5km away from the centre of the town. It's a small but one of the clean railway stations I have seen. Facilities include rest rooms, wait rooms for women, ac class and general class passengers, a functional elevator, a canteen etc Ample parking space for private vehicles. You'll find share auto (Rs20) and private autos (Rs100 roughly) to and fro to the town.

Visited during day time and it was not crowded .Very neat and clean railway station like Gandhi nagar railway station. Lift facility available .
