SAIKUNJ HOLIDAY HOMES - Guest house in Candolim - North Goa, India

Visited the site whilst on holiday to look at an apartment for sale. I found it to be a really nice area with well-kept gardens and surrounding areas. The apartment we looked at was 2 beds with an open-plan kitchen and dining area. It was very spacious and very well decorated. It appears to be a great place to live or go on holiday

I had booked a 4 day stay at Saikunj Homestay but now have to leave in just 2 days. It is pathetic, unclean, no staff, no help nothing. On top, had ants on my bed, which I had to clean myself. The owner talk loudly when you reach out. He is very rude & unwelcoming. The AC does not work, bathroom runs out of water. If you complain about the water issue they we dont know how to operate the Tap. The bathroom was so untidy that we had to clean it first. Once we complained to owner he then cleaned it. When we complained about the AC, the owner said that he does not know about ACs. Later his son came to have a look. He cleaned it, which got the AC working but then it stopped working again. MakeMyTrip Policies on full payment and No Refunds is something that i did like. There is no law to protect travellers. Will take insurance going forward for other travels. PS: All the other reviews are fake, given by local people. Just check out their names. Humble request, not to provide reviewers just for money. If you are on a holiday, I genuinely request to spend some time researching a better place.

Great place to be in. Nice swimming pool, good for family and friends.

The place is safe, clean & gives ample privacy. The place surely gives you the warmth and coziness of a house. It is located off the main road but tat gives it a peaceful surrounding. There is no garden or swimming pool but there is a huge balcony if you wish to sit outside.The size of TV is too small with few channels. Wished there was cooking facility (atleast an induction cook top / microwave or small single gas stove) as only tea/coffee is available as room service. If you wish to eat anything, you can swiggy it. We got our breakfast delivered by swiggy throughout our stay. it was cool. But good quality and apt utensils are kept in the kitchen. The owner is very cool and does not interfere with the guests and specially the timings. She's understanding, prompt and warm. The owners live on the ground floor of this two storey apartments. we'll going again the next time. Go for it and you won't regret.

Great place!! Nice and cosy. Have stayed there twice already and hope to stay again. Nearby to Candolim Beach and restaurants as well. Owners stay in the same house and are very helpful.

I had previously posted a review regarding our stay and and it included our inconvenience. The owner has posted a rather defensive reply which comes out as disrespectful. The ac was in fact not working on the first day for which the filter was changed while the owner has posted that we didn't know how to operate things. He posted that we were loud and "shouting" and they received complaints but we were not told anything during that time and we would have taken necessary measures to rectify it. And regarding the checkout, we told him that we'll pay extra charges for the extension hours but they were not ready to accept it and this was when the owner spoke condescendingly. We checked out at the exact time they told us to check out. We came to this home looking at the good reviews. In fact everything else was clean and housekeeping staff were friendly. I just wanted to point out the things which could be improved. It is very hurtful to see the owner reply to our concerns in a degrading manner on a public platform.

I stayed in oct 2018 for 4 nights with family and i had great time. Rooms and bathrooms were clean , TV, AC and wifi were working. I got parking outside the building which was fine. Owners are nice as they help you out for any additional requirements. Location is good as it is center and everything is nearby.

We had great and amazing time staying here... Hospitality and service was really good... Finally for the first time visit in goa. we got pleasant place to stay.. Whenever we have plans in future to come goa this place will be at top priority. Highly recommended.
