Authentic Rajashthani n North Indian food on the way to jowai
If you are craving for good South Indian food in Shillong, this is the right place to visit, "Manojettan's SAI". Good food. Better quality and quantity. You will get the exact South Indian taste in every dishes. All the dishes are made in South Indian style only. Have most of the South Indian dishes like Porotta, Dosa, Masala Dosa, Ghee roast, Idli, Vada, Appam, Sambar and so on. The menu is very cheap comparing to other South Indian restaurants in Shillong. I tried almost all the dishes here. All of them was better. I will recommend Masala Dosa, Idli, Porotta with chicken curry, Appam with stew, Chicken roll (Should try atleast once). Biriyani here is fine only, but it is worth a try. Have UPI payment option. Have parking space also.
Small place but exemplary food. Not much on the menu but thats good enough for me. Here you will get that food which has that south Indian taste which you have been craving for a long time. Very reasonable for good quality food. They are good people. It is run by husband and wife from Kerela. They sell coconuts, coconut oil, banana chips, tapioca chips, jack fruit chips. I've tasted them all and all of them were good. Burger tastes better than high end restaurant. ?
