Sai Palace Udaipur - Hotel in Udaipur, Gordhan Vilas Rural - Udaipur, India

Stayed here with my family for around 5 days. They have around 19 rooms. The rooms themselves are decent but getting outdated. The washrooms need to be redone. The toilet seat in my room has scratches and became almost black from cleaning with abrasives over the years. The staff is really good and helpful and they take good care of you. Food in the palace is very expensive and the location is very secluded and at least 8-9 kms from the centre. Unless you're traveling in big groups or you just want to stay in a quiet place and have your own car then you can stay here otherwise prefer to stay around the centre of the city close to Fateh Sagar Lake.

No view of lake, Food was really good, Rooms were pretty good, spacious and clean. Pool was good. The garden is really small.

This is like white Haveli with ancient look n feel, very neatly maintained. Clean rooms, good swimming pool. We have booked it full for 40 PPL approx. It's having total 16-18 rooms. Quite spacious and pleasant stay. Only drawback for this four floor building is without lift. Staff is helpful and good. Seating arrangement at staircase on ground floor will look like small center stage. This can be good venue for groups as well all type of stay.

We the group of 15 people stayed here. It was a good property. Located at very nice location, not to close to city not too far. Good size of pool, rooms were not luxurious but they were good enough. Large and clean washrooms, huge courtyard were a top up! Food needs a great improvement. Breakfast items were a little better but lunch and dinner were not good at all. Staff was co operative but needs more training about some service things. It's always okay to not keeping an eye on responsible group of people all the time!

Cons- 1. Too much outer from the main city. 2. You will not get any transportation from this location. 3. Even for a small shop you have to go long way. 4. The owner is not at all friendly also he will go back on his words. 5. The photos of hotel(like pool, garden) are fake and photo shopped. 6. Menu is not good. 7. No space for parking, no security for your vehicles. Pros- 1. The hotel staff is very much supportive. 2. Bathrooms are clean. 3. Since it is so so so far away from city so it's quite in this location.

If in GROUP and don't want go for sightseeing... It's so good... Otherwise don't try...

Nice place to stay. Cozy. Comfortable. Peaceful. Relaxing. Amazing mountain views. Wake up early in the morning and go for a forest trail, you will view an amazing sunrise. A TT table is also there. In the evening you can spend time in the garden. Chef cooks tasty food. Staff is humble. Good service. Overall value for money. Whether you come for a sightseeing or a leisurely trip, this Hotel is a good choice.

Sai Palace is a perfect place if you r planning a family or friends get together. Loaction is very nice in a quite part of udaipur surrounded by hills away from hustle of city. Pool is amazing and d best part is tht its covered so it can be enjoyed in any weather. Host Mr. Tushar Somani is a gem of a person and goes out of his way to help make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Food is also good thanks to head chef Mr. Harish who caters to all the demands very politely. Rooms and common areas r all very spacious and comfortable. All in all a very good value for your money if you are planning a group travel. Looking forward for another memorable stay at this property soon.
