Situation: Due to my family ritual I was not supposed to reside at any home in the town for one night and I had to take a lodge accomodation, as my cousin knows this place I was suggested and took the accomodation at negotiated rate for a AC room 1200/- per night for wife and myself (1400/- rack rate), I know that was not even a discounted rate. To my surprise when I went entered the room to my surprise there was a twin bed and the bedsheet was in two colors ( yes both the bed had different bedsheets like being used for 10 years), I am still compromised as it was one night deal and I will have to leave the next morning. Issues: My awaiting surprises below. There are power cuts and the hotel does not have backup, when asked it had failed and they are awaiting to be fixed (when enquired got to know they never had such backup) The lift was not working you have to climb 2floors for every small need. Yes there is sticker in room says dial 9 for room service, only to find there is broken telephone wire hanging there. I am working from home and I need some power to charge my laptops and Hotspots. Now the sockets were not working and when I called the care taken PA Reddy (please note this name, the night mare of my experience), he instead of empathising my situation started shouting, you cannot expect the services in room after paying a premium. He came after I went down to find him and switch on the power driped main board. I was in a video call with the client that night and all of a sudden the lights turned off, I had to put some stories and the power was back after half hour. AC was working fine, but the bed was smelly. Another surprise the power cut again in the morning at around 6am disturbing my sleep, I just bathed and got down to the reception to vacate and to my surprise there was a small inverter backup with fan and light running for PA reddy. END NOTE: This is horrible place, never ever check in unless you are in a sheer need
