Sai Baba Hotel - Dhaba in Hoogly, Bangihati - Hooghly, India

An ideal place on highway to take a break from driving and have food. We visited during the evening for tea and samosa. Tea tastes good and you can choose between veg or chicken samosa. Both of them are fresh and delicious. The restaurant was packed with customers, which suggests that it is a popular eating joint. Service is quick.

I found this Dhaba very overhyped. Don't get me wrong, their food quality is okay. The crowd even at 11-12 at night says how famous is this Dhaba. They've a huge sitting area inside and that's what you expect from a Dhaba on Delhi Road. But what else is expected are good food and service. From entering in the Dhaba to billing no one was attending us. Even there was no menu card anywhere. We needed to ask for everything and also service was really really slow. Coming to the food I expected a lot but found broken eggshell in Chicken Bhartha. Taste wise it wasn't extraordinary. Also Egg Tadka was below ordinary. I can recommend Chicken Kasha and it was quite good. You would expect this kind of Dhaba to be cheap but surprisingly the quantity they serve per dish is very low. Rs.120 for a portion of plain Egg Tadka that isn't even sufficient for one person. Same quantity with Chicken Bharta as well for Rs.170. Chicken Kasha were somewhere okay with three pieces at Rs.170. Regular phulka is below ordinary for Rs.5. Can't really recommend this Dhaba.

A good highway dhaba place for evening snacks & dinner with family & friends. Price worth. Variety of options in menu. Both vegetarian & non vegetarian foods. We always prefer chicken pakoda in starter snacks. Not very expensive but you can't expect a star class ambience with this price range. Overall a good option on highway with its price range.. Bigger parking.. You won't feel any scarcity of space even if you drive truck... Give it a try with evening snacks & tea you will love it.

Sai Baba hotel in chandannagar is a reliable name. Quality and tasty foods are delivered . We recently visited this place and had Chapati, Egg tadka, Dal fry, Chicken curry. I liked this place and will visit again.

The food in this shop is very good to eat. I played this store first on my way home tomorrow. Such beautiful food. The price is not high. The price is kept so that everyone can eat. Had a plate of chicken pakora, which was amazing to eat. It was accompanied by chutney and salad. A plate of chicken pakora costs 110 rupees. There is a tea shop near this shop. The tea there is great. It was great the first time. And the shop is very clean.

Rather expensive than the quality of food. Neat and clean. Well behaved staff. The tea counter outside is rather good and price is reasonable.

When I was a kid back then, I used to come here with my family whenever we used to return back home from Kolkata. But right now, their taste and service deteriorated drastically. Although the taste of the food is decent but their service is pathetic. We need to call them multiple times to grab their attention. Sorry not sorry.
