The history behind the name (which when translated to English, is Foolish Hotel) is: The grandfather of the current owner started this as a small dhaba outside the district hospital in Giridih. The best food was found there, and the price was also less. Many of the guests left without paying for their food. But the owner did not complain. People thought that he was foolish, and this gave the name of the dhaba. But the owner said that he was at least doing service for mankind by feeding others. Hence he started this proper restaurant with the famous name. From then, this has been a famous food joint in Giridih. The food quality is really good, except that it's very hot. Recommended for every tourist. You'll get only rice in the morning, but at night, you'll also get roti. Just ask anyone: Bewakoof Hotel in Ambedkar Chowk. REMEMBER: THERE ARE SEVERAL RESTAURANTS WITH THIS NAME. GO ONLY TO THE ONE ON THE MAIN STREET, AND LOOK AT THE PHOTO BEFORE ENTERING.
