Nearest place to Nagaon beach serving authentic Konkani delicacies, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The place is situated amidst various trees and plants around giving fresh air along with food! Service is super fast. And food is super delicious.
On our visit to Alibaug we visited this place for lunch and ordered pomfret fry, surmai fry, prawns masala, prawns fry, mutton thali, kombdi vade, solkadhi, prawns thali and veg thali. The quality of the food was great and service was also good even on the occasion of bhaubij. Authentic Malvani gravy of prawns and rice bhakri tasted great with it.
I really had a good experience having dinner with Family members at Sahil. The kids also enjoyed the food with beautiful surroundings. Recommended to my friends and family members too.
I recently dined at Sahil Lunch Home and was pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu offering both seafood and vegetarian dishes. I highly recommend trying their seafood specialties, but even if you're a vegetarian, you won't be disappointed. A great dining experience all around!"
Food : Food taste is not good. We ordered special veg thali but other than "Ukadi che Modak" nothing was special. Veg gravies were spicy and not even tasty. Fish thali was also not upto the mark. Service: Service was pathetic. We waited for 30 mins to get table. Hotel management guys are enrolled our names but not even called us after 30 mins. After getting table no one came to take order for 30 mins. They didn't even take efforts to clean the table. We went to reception and given order. Waited almost for 30 mins to get the order on table. Waiters were not attentive. They will not come to your table and ask if we want anything else-may you wave your hands or call them. They will simply ignore you. Atmosphere: Usually crowded place.No arrangements for people who are waiting in the queue.
Super fast food on the table with authentic konkani taste. Bombil fry, Tisrya masala, prawn fry were among the lip smacking starters. Their special thali is really special with beautiful and equally tasty ookda modak. Service was super fast despite the place being full. 10 mins Max. Must visit! Update 2023: One year later. The bombil fry and prawns fry were tasty. However, their pomfret and surmai fish fry had a very bad stink which I reported to the guy on the desk. He straight away told me that it was fresh and was bought today. Blatant lie! One thing we forget to do is return the bad food right away after tasting and ask for a refund. Anyway, we won't be visiting this place again. Never!
