Sahastrakund Waterfall - Tourist attraction in Saharsrakund, Murli - Yavatmal, India

Very calm and quiet place. Even in summer it's cool. By road it's possible now as roads are good to drive. But no good hotels or food there. So when planning to come here always carry food. As there is no hotel nearby you can only plan one day tour. Amazing view. Might be the biggest and widest river water fall in Maharashtra. 800 meter wide painganga river. Entire water falling from 150 to 200 feet height on the rock.

If you want to see waterfalls, I suggest you visit during the rainy season and after heavy rains... Stay within the security fences, Water flow is very dangerously high there. Suggest to visit the other side of the river, the views from the other sides are just stunning.... Stay Safe and Take care

It's fantastic Location Mahadev temple..and besides Sahatrakund Water Fall..two Side view available but mostly we can see Right Side of water fall.. left side view you can cross bridge 3km and that side forest rest House you can view whole waterfall...we travel by Road himayatnagar to bhokar distance 80km

Good place for picnic, you can spend good time with family & friends.

I visited the waterfall on 17 September 19 with two Austrian and a German friend. They were amazed to see it. They also wondered why not many tourists come here. According to them it is one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the world. It's a really scenic place.

Best place to visit during rainy season. The waterfall is just awesome after river fills with rainwater. One big deep circle area is created in the way of the waterfall . You should not go beyond the railings, because its dangerous and many peoples have been killed while doing that.

Large number of people visits this waterfall in rainy season. Tourists enjoy the water falling from 30-40 feet, small drops spread over entire tourists and sound of water give immense happiness to the visitors.There is a beautiful garden on the bank of waterfall. Must visit after heavy rainfall to enjoy more beautiful views
