I recently visited the sahastradhara fall and I was absolutely blown away. The vibe of the fall is much better than other fall nearby Indore . The area is calm and clean, and the people are very friendly. The ghat is beautiful, the fort which is nearby is picturesque, and the holy Narmada River is the most beautiful I've ever seen. I spent my days exploring the city, visiting the temples and shrines, and taking in the sights and sounds. I also spent some time relaxing on the banks of the river, taking in the peace and tranquility. I would highly recommend visiting Maheshwar city and the waterfall which is nearby if you're looking for a unique and unforgettable travel experience. Pros: Calm and clean Friendly people Beautiful ghats Picturesque fort Holy Narmada River Cons: Can be crowded during peak tourist season Some areas of the city are not well-maintained Overall: Sahastradhara waterfall is a beautiful and charming that is well worth a visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable travel experience.
Shehastradhara is scenic place to visit, it is 5km to west from Maheshwar, road is good you can drive with speed of 50-60kmph easily before shehastradhara you should also visit Shree Datt Mandir which is just before one turn to shehastradhara. You can take your card to the end point where Shehastradhara would be just gew steps away from you. I am posting some pictures of this place
A boat ride to Sahastradhara is a wonderful experience. Watching the spectacular sunset with your loved one beside and the only soothing sound of running waters of Narmada ji is a moment worth it. Unmatched & unforgettable. You can't describe it, you can only experience it.
We went there with friends and enjoyed our weekend there. This place was too crowded surrounded by people's. You can cook and eat anywhere. There is no restriction to cook and eat. But you have to take all cooking utilities such as food, cooking untensills at your end. Overall, you can spent the entire day there.
Silent Natural Place giving beautiful scene of Narmada River. But tourists throw very much Plastic Garbage in River
This place is also amazing. At the end of the road, one needs to park their vehicle and then walk over small certain stones to reach wherever they want to enjoy the view and the beauty of nature.
A beautiful and nice place, must visit while you are in Maheswar...
At a distance of 7 km from Maheshwar Bus Station, Sahastradhara Waterfall is a wonderful waterfall located in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Situated in Jalkoti, it is one of the popular waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh, and among the must-visit Maheshwar tourist places. Sahastradhara literally means a thousand streams. Narmada river flows over a rocky patch here and so the main flow breaks down into many streams. With sunlight falling over the streams, it creates a silvery and gleaming river. Visitors won't see this sight in the monsoon as the river will have a lot more water to break down. Hence, winter is the best season to visit the waterfall where one gets totally engrossed in the mesmerizing play of the streams of Maa Narmada.
