Sahana Multi Cuisine Restaurant - Chettinad restaurant in Kanyakumari - Kanniyakumari, India

The food was good, but the service was extremely poor, which made our dining experience unpleasant. We want to caution tourists in Kanyakumari about this place. It's a basic restaurant where we initially sat in a hall that lacked ambiance. We asked for service, but our requests were ignored in favor of locals. After a while, we noticed an AC hall with a better atmosphere and moved there. Even though there was only one other family dining, our requests continued to be ignored. There was also a distressing element of racism. Despite the delicious food, the issues persisted. The lights were dimmed without consideration for our comfort, and the staff had a loud argument in front of us. This experience was disappointing, especially since we had high expectations after traveling from Kochi. We hope this review serves as a warning to other travelers, as the local customers might tolerate such behavior, but it's not suitable for those from different places.

We were guided into this restaurant by a local person. The food was not tasty. We ordered chicken curry and mutton curry Chicken curry was full of water, with chunky chicken pieces which had no masala. Because of mutton curry some taste giving 3 star.

Nice ambiance for family dinner in Ac. Good and tastey food. Average price. Parking on roads is the only problem here. There are lot spaces available for dining But service is too bad yesterday i went this restaurant and i ordered 1 tea after i order parota and chicken tandoori They almost tea took half hour to prepare.

Sahana is One of the well known restaurants in Kanyakumari, located on Kanyakumari - Nagercoil main road. There are 2 lounges- AC and Non AC Non AC lounge is quite better for the budget but too noisy. Major difference AC vs Non AC No plain gravy or salna or kuruma or curry for Barota, chapathi, Naan at AC dining Gravy items need to be ordered separately at AC dining. Even dosa without sambar or chatni. Most disappointed. But at Non AC You will be served barota with salna, chapathi with kuruma. These food items are cooked in the same kitchen Billing is also at the same counter. Just a glass door between AC and Non AC makes this entire difference. To show a big picture for royalty gravy items are listed under main dishes. I went with my family on 27 nov 2023 and tried Grilled chicken that was not served hot. Not even warm. After complaining they changed the pieces. Chicken and beef curry were a bit salty. While paying the bill we expressed our feedback politely. I was looking at the non AC dining through the door from AC dining. Tourists were served barota with gravy and I was without gravy but barota from the same serving tray to both AC and Non AC. The previous year I went with my family and the experience was delightful. Unfortunately this time I am so disappointed that I hope they will improve. AC dining is well furnished and the ambience is good.

Shana Multi cuisine Restaurant its a budget friendly hotel you will get good food at very reasonable price. They are Specialised in Biryani. Kanyakumari it's good . They maintain the taste throught the year. They have normal seating arrangements when you enter immediately and AC Hall is separately for family. Chicken items most of the items are avilable they also have parcel services. They are into party orders also. Juice shop is recently renovated the ambience is good. They have plenty of staffs and service is not a problem. Some times they face when it's heavily crowded. Overall the experience is good.

Very very bad service in my entire life. food is also not good for eat.many service people there but NO ONE should response to the customer it's not a good sign for a restaurant. I personally not recommend this restaurant money in also two much costly that is not worth for food also it's like a mud don't go to this restaurant for a food time it's good for you

The prawn biriyani was damn spicy. Couldnt even eat it. The level and kick of spice was way too high. Nobody can tolerate. The lime soda was just pathetic. Chicken biriyani was fine. Dragon chicken and lollipop was okat but the quantity was not worth for the money.

Very good food. Nice a/c restaurant Reasonable price. Good service.
