Sahana Castle Restaurant - Chettinad restaurant in Nagercoil - Kanniyakumari, India

It's located in the heart of Nagercoil. The food taste was not reach the level how much we pay for it. We tried soup chicken and vegetarian but it make disappointed in the beginning it's self.. the alfaham chicken was so good in taste and spicy was so good.. must try chicken in this sahana ... Fried rice was not cooked well... Juice totally disappointed... The cup size was high .. lemon taste was not good...

Delicious food with good ambience. Enjoyed food a lot with my 10 month old baby. Disappointed when they said veg platter not available after accepting order. Anyhow I recommend food here as a foodie. Last punch is pineapple juice with a hand length of glass.

This restaurant is located near Vadasery bustand. It is located next to Udupi international hotel. I went to this restaurant for my niece birthday. It was a very good experience. It has both veg and non veg food stuff. All the dishes very tasty. All our family members really enjoyed the ambience and everybody liked the food variety very much.... Waiters were disciplined and provided good service .

Good ambience 3 star hotel,calm stay located in main vadasery , Nagercoil.Morning breakfast is very expensive but food taste average only.

Visited this hotel on 7th December, 2021. Worst hospitability i have faced in any hotels. They make us book rooms with lies. Once u question them, they go to the extent of using curses and abusive words. Never have i felt such experience in any other premium hotels I have attached below the type of rooms available in the hotel. Before booking the rooms, i was shown the rooms by the hotel staff.i preferred a deluxe room and they showed one and they specifically mentioned that it would come with a king size bed. So i paid for the room. But the room they gave me didnt have a king size bed . When i questioned the hotel staff, their response was that they would provide king size bed only to family and not to bachelors in a disrespectful manner. The hotel staff should have provided this information beforehand and this was not mentioned anywhere in the attached brochure. This issue may be a trivial one, i could adjust without a king size bed. But what hurt me the most was the disrespectful gestures, manners and abusive words (to the extent of curses) used by the hoyel staff. Never had i experienced this in any other hotels. When i enquired about the hotel to other guests they too have experienced such awkward instances. Though this hotel looks premium, staff hospitality is zero.

We got take away yesterday to celebrate. The overall food experience was mediocre at best. We enjoyed the starters - Tandoori Chicken, Kothu kozhi, and Crab Lollipop. The breads, Butter Naan & Kerala Parotta, and the sides Chicken Rara were good & met the expectation for taste, portion & quality. The rice dishes were stale & terrible - we had Plain Biriyani & Cashew Pulao; both the items spoiled the overall experience. It is understandable that Biriyani is not prepared fresh for every order, but the expectation is that a fine dining restaurant of Sahana Castle's repute will not serve stale food. We could have ordered something else on the menu if they had indicated that Biriyani won't be fresh. A similar experience was felt while eating the Cashew Pulao, the taste & presentation significantly below par. The order delivery time was good & was done without any hassle. The facility accepts payments via both cash & card.
