Sadar bazaar ranikhet, it is a small market in ranikhet, coz its a cantonment area, ranikhet is one of the cleanest hill station of uttarakhand. Beautiful place, a must visit.

Simple and very polite people run daily needs shops here. Neat and clean place. Happy to see that all shopkeepers encourage the use of cloth bags instead of polythene carry bags. Parking is a bit of problem in the bazaar, so recommend that tourists park in the designated parking available at both ends of the bazaar.

With the locality and the market, Sadar Bazar Ranikhet is your go to location. Not only will you be served with very good food, hospitality but also can explore the serenity and tranquility at the place. No chaos of any sort will be met with. There can be exceptions when it comes to festivals etc. All in all a place market worth giving a try. You will have a high probability of realising, diamonds are indeed located in coal mines!

Its the main market in Ranikhet. It has all the relevant shops for daily needs such as mobile accessories, groceries, consumer durables, medicine shops, restaurants, etc. It is touristy and has several hotels. Though a bit congested, since interstate bus stand is also there, it has one way traffic policy from 9 am in the morning till 6 pm. The market is closed on Mondays. The market shuts down by sundown.

Ranikhet's very own High Street ! Well, high certainly in metres above sea level...nut not much else. This crowded, frantic, shop filled, narrow road teeming with pedestrians and thrumming to the sound of bikes, buses, jeep taxis, and horns, is tough to navigate through and.a nightmare to park on. Part of the time it's s one way street...and it's best you go there then. Two petrol pumps, a few pharmacies, plenty of clothing and shoe shops, some phone shops, a photo framer, a few general and plastic or metal goods merchants, a few nondescript eateries and some vegetable markets line this road. Forget bringing your car. If you do, it's best to park at one end and walk up and down the market.

You get all essential here, grocery , fish, meat, spices, two and four wheel repair mechanic, furniture etc. Walk able. Bakery is nearby. Cannot park here. To park on mall and walk down the steps.
