Sagharika Gardens - Resort hotel in Kovalam, Kanathur Reddykuppam - Chengalpattu, India

This place is located in a very nice location but if you are coming from a 3+ star accomodations then this does not meet your expectation. This is a event hall with 3 rooms and that is it. This is a very old building with very poor maintenance. Rooms are filthy and the restrooms are not even worth to talk about.

A big beautiful looking bunglow but shows up in age. Room keys were not given but were asked for more money as security deposit. Terrace was locked and they were not willing to open and we did not have the view of the beach. Swimming pool was good and has good depth. But was tooo strong with clorine that our dress lost its shade.

Everything is good. Only one thing I am dissapointed with them is when the power is gone they have a generator as a backup but asking the guest to buy the diesel for generator. While booking they don't inform about this. Suddenly they are saying this is not included in the payment you have to buy the diesel. We didn't buy them diesel and we didn't pay any extra money for using generator backup because they did not inform about this when we booked.

Our family's sangeeth event took place at Sagharika Gardens. Beautiful location with swimming pool and lawn facilities which can easily accommodate 100+ guests. However, the rooms need a lot of improvement in terms of lighting, room service and maintenance. Table tennis, cricket, and swimming are some of the game activities we did during our stay.

Small but superb resort in ECR..Nice rooms for resting. Capacity of holding about 250 persons party hall..Garden space handling of 500 persons. Decoration area and swimming pool. Only the distance is having a issue.
