A holy place in Gwalior. An ancient water reservoir situated near anand nagar. 40 feet deep historical Sagar Tal of Gwalior. It was constructed to ensure water supply to the people in the event of a siege to the Gwalior fort. Today it is estimated to have 5,000 ton siltation. Therefore it has 15 feet water and 25 feet of siltation. Municipal Corporation proposed Rs. 7.71 crore budget to clean it. #GwaliorHistory It need maintenance there is so much of garbage in the water. Ask the government where did the money to clean this water go.

Good place but really ignored by Gwalior or MP development and tourism authorities . People using it as garbage center ..

Needs to clean and maintain city as this city might go for travel and tourism. Must have fund gov.

Man made pond for religious rituals.

Poorly managed historic property. Water filthy and smelling. Used as a dumping ground for idols

Very dirty it was when we visited for ganesh visarjan
