So we had a deep craving for South Indian food. So we visited here for breakfast. The restaurant is up market and also pricey but it was worth a visit. Due too is fantastic ambience. And the taste of food. I have attached few pictures that would be helpful. Advance reservation may be required during peak hours.
Everything related to the Southern part of India fascinates me. I like everything about Southern India: the food, the culture, the place everything. I found this place a better way to experience it; so while exploring the wonderful place to eat out, I found this place suitable for all my requirements. Natural ambience and good food no doubt, I had a great experience here. The service was good. So I recommend this place if you are looking for a natural environment and a better food quality restaurant. But I didn't like the restroom facility. That was a common restroom for everyone. You should think about it. Besides this, I liked everything there.
Sagar Ratna has many branches in India and overseas as well. The brand has always been popular to serve their best south Indian options. Surprisingly, they included north indian, chineese and other options as well. The brand should be focusing on what it does best and not involve multiple cuisine and make the menu more confusing. Anyways we tried masala dosa, idli sambar and uttapam. All tasted pretty average and there was no wow factor in sambar which we expect from a South Indian restaurant. The overall ambience was good with some traditional artwork done in the place.
Agar Ratna is our is one of our favourite place for South Indian food. That have authentic dishes in their menu to satisfy your taste buds. We have tried Madras Idli fry, Rassam, lemon rice and Chettinad dose. Must try of all above. It's an heaven for all South Indian lovers.
