Rating: (2/5) As someone who enjoys exploring various cuisines, I recently dined at Sagar Ratna Restaurant with high hopes for an authentic and delightful experience. However, I must say that my visit left me feeling disappointed, particularly when it came to the price they charged in relation to the quality and quantity of their dishes. Firstly, let's talk about the pricing. I found the menu prices to be significantly higher than what I would expect for the kind of food they serve. While I understand that quality comes at a cost, I couldn't help but feel that the price tags were rather unjustified, especially when compared to other Indian restaurants in the area offering similar or even better fare at more reasonable rates. Moreover, the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the prices charged. When dining out, I expect a satisfying meal that leaves me feeling full and content. However, the portions at Sagar Ratna were disappointingly modest, leaving me craving for more after finishing each dish. This made the overall dining experience far from value for money. Moving on to the quality of the food, it was a mixed bag. Some dishes were decent, showcasing traditional flavors and competent cooking, while others seemed lackluster and lacking in authenticity. The inconsistency in taste and presentation was quite evident, making it challenging to recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly. Additionally, the service was somewhat lackadaisical. Although the staff was courteous, the overall efficiency was not up to the mark. There were noticeable delays in getting our orders taken and receiving the food, further adding to the less-than-pleasant experience. On a positive note, the ambiance was pleasant, and the restaurant's decor was warm and inviting. However, good ambiance alone cannot compensate for the shortcomings in other aspects of the dining experience. In conclusion, while Sagar Ratna Restaurant may have its charm and some decent dishes, I cannot overlook the fact that they charge a premium for their offerings without consistently delivering on the promised quality and quantity. I left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied and with the lingering feeling that I could have gotten a better meal at a more reasonable price elsewhere. As such, I find it difficult to recommend Sagar Ratna to fellow diners who seek a fulfilling culinary experience without breaking the bank. Not a very flashy place, but preety decent. We had Puri bajji and Idli Chat and it was nice. Simple, Neat and clean place! The prices were a bit on the higher side, though, and there wasn't any special attribute to justify it. I was surprised to see that it was actually a chain of restaurants, it didn't seem like one.

The food is tasty. Ambience is ok, it gets too noisy during lunch. You will have to wait for few minutes during lunch hours

Visited this place in March. It was still accepting the order being placed at 11 pm, I couldn't even find an open restaurant around this area at that time. So it was a saviour. We placed a dinner order for North Indian food with Dal Makhani and Kadahi paneer with different breads. Dal makhni was good topped with white cream but not spicy , quantity wise it was sufficient for only 3-4 people. Kadahi paneer was also good , not spicy and good enough for 3-4 people. I liked the garlic mirchi parantha very much and it is a must order. Rest I ordered laccha parantha butter naan and plain roti. All were good to taste. I couldn't try the South Indian delicacies. Overall the service was a little slow and it also got mixed up with someone else's order. I would say a good family restaurant for a quiet evening with good food. I found it on the costlier side. We were 4 people and total bill came out to be Rs. 1350/-

I ordered hara bhara kabab, spring rolls n milk shake. All r tasty. Bt I didn't like cheese dosa. Their chutney r delicious. Ambience was ok ok types. Staff was friendly n cordial. Overall a gud experience

Today I lunch in there I ordered Tamoto Soup, Masala dosa, Onion Uttapam. I am not happy with Soup, taste of soup is not good. Crockery is very bad quality not properly clean. Uttapam is not properly cooked. Please do better in your kitchen area. Your name is your identity. Please maintain it. Thanks

Less quantity and over priced... lots of Lizard outside the restaurant..... thaali was not available........ sweet lassi and cheese dosa is recommended....malai kofta tastes like sweet potato kheer...... paneer tikka comes in very less quantity.....others might like it but not according to my taste

Generally I don't do reviews for any of the food and restaurant but it's very necessary today to give a review for the Sagar Ratna Naraina. Today I went to Sagar Ratna along with my son and we had masala dosa over there first of all the plates and the bowls on which they are serving are very tiny, just like these plates and bowls for kids, things will not get over here the quality of food which has been served by them is just more than pathetic in sambar you can find my vegetables only a water.Minus one rating to this particular food please don't go there and don't waste your hard earned money for this pathetic food. This is the worst Dosa I ever had.
