We ordered fish meals and guess what they only served fish gravy in a small cup, it's not worth it. Malabar parata and chettinad chicken curry was good even chicken biryani is of typical Tamil Nadu style. You have a great mountain view from the restaurant which is the only plus. Ambience is ok and washrooms are really pathetic typical old Indian style laboratory.
The waiter was extremely polite and food was much better than expected. The only thing they lack is some hygiene and even though I say this yet I cannot pin point because plates, tables etc were clean..it's just the ambience and crockery that gives this vibe. Anyway, blindly go for it...we tried butter chicken and Dal...both were yummy.
U don't have much choice around here so it's ok ... average taste and average service .. they charged boneless chicken price for boned chicken but u don't have much option here
I went to this restaurant when I was going to Ooty in the morning through this road. Since it was morning, I ate masala dosa and drank some tea and it was good food. The behavior of the staff is not bad and almost everything is of an average quality. Then there is car parking. It is an all-inclusive restaurant for travelers
The place is next to the Resort and on the main road of Masinagudi junction. The chicken biryani and pepper chicken are tasty. Pros: Parking is available, SBI ATMs are available, and feel the nature of hills. Cons: The restrooms are horrible with a bad smell and do not have any lights. Fresh Juice/Icecream are not available. Tiffin items are not available. Rating: Taste - 3/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Quality - 3/5 Cleanliness - 2/5 Rates. - 4/5
Worst food quality. Too much price. Don't try. Both veg and non veg are the worst I ever had. Those who really care in your health don't try. We ordered chicken briyani. Small quantity. Meat is not even cooked well. Suspect the quality Paneer butter masala is like ready made powder dish. Parota and chapthi are very average. The food department needs to review this hotel quality #food department #masinagudi #hotel safari
Food was just average not so tasty nor bad. We ordered: Kerala meals - 3/5 Chicken fried rice - 2/5 Chicken 65 - 4/5 Chilli Chicken - 0/5 - Awful Service was pathetic. Had to call the person for basic things like spoon, fork, salt etc. Staff behaviour was ridiculous. I shared my disappointment on the chilli chicken that we ordered. He just nodded his head and said, total bill is 810 rs which I paid. Atleast, an apology and enquiring on what happened could have been made the experience a little better. Rates are also on the higher side but that's understandable as it's a tourist spot. I won't recommend this hotel at all.
it may seem like a typical eatery with nothing extraordinary, it does have a standout feature - washrooms available for public use. This is especially noteworthy as the location often lacks access to hygienic toilets. The restaurant itself offers standard fare, nothing particularly exceptional, but it serves as a convenient stop for travelers in need of clean facilities. So, if you find yourself in Masinagudi and require a reliable place to eat with decent washroom facilities, this restaurant would be a suitable choice.

The place was very peaceful. We stayed in a room with mountain view which was very good. Rooms are very neatly maintained. We enjoyed the campfire in the night a lot. Food was very good and homely. The best part of the stay was the services from Vija
Wonderful service! The location is perfect as it is a bit outside the town. The food was tasty and they also accomodated our request for hot water to drink. They were helpful about giving information about the times to go for some animal sighting and
Serene place to visit in Masinagudi. You can see the mini hydro power plant closely from here... Get a local guide to accompany you as it's under restrictions. No entry fees required. If lucky we can spot some wild animals along the way.

It is a decent place to have breakfast. We ordered Uttapam and it good. You can ask to add less "Oil". They do serve omelets, juices and many more things. You can sit and relax. This place has ample parking space and clean rest rooms.
