Wonderfull experience. Aadi Yogi and beautiful location awesome combination. Rangasthala is one more place to visit nearby just 4kms from aadi yogi. 2000 years old Ranganatha swamy temple idol is made of saligrama shile developed by Vijayanagara kings. RAC out bound is one nearest home stay provides decent accommodation, food, some adventure and water sport activities.
Best experience. Such a beautiful place. Its under construction but still there is two open temple and a huge Adiyogi face statue. The final 3Kms is yet to have a road, its full of stone roads now.
I had been here as a volunteer for unveiling of adiyogi event. Though the place is under construction. Basic facilities were made temporarily. Had a devine experience.
Awesome experience still lot of work is undergoing...the roads are still bit tough but the serenity of the place, the mountains surrounding the Adiyogi , the cool breeze even when the sun is glowing in its full blaze, the positive vibes are all worth the tough terrain!
Good weekend gateway from Bengaluru. This place is still under construction in the approaching road around 2 km. Roads are wide but not yet constructed. It is muddy road. Parking fees Bike 20 Car 50 Big vehicle 70 Overall good. Ample parking is available Roads are scenic with a lot of sevanti flower farms.
I visited the place yesterday. Road Construction going on. Avoid visiting the place for now. There's a good stretch of 2 km after the Isha gates which are full of gravel and bumpy roads. Elders in the car will suffer in the bumpy ride. Plus car wheels are sure to get damaged because of the large and sharp gravel stones. Ideally the place must be closed to the public until this work is completed. Once inside though, the Adiyogi statue is majestic but one can see tile work is still going on. It's very hot to walk on the existing tiles barefoot. Be cautious with children. Refreshments and Isha merchandise are available outside the Naga mandir entrance but there is a slight bump in prices. Information center is courteous.
Good place to visit lord shiva where God could see All your struggles to take selfies, videos, Calls, lives, reels etc,, idol place is good and kept in between the mountains, cool breeze, rain moreover we would love the place It is not completely developed and roads are too worst. As compared to this place coimbatore Isha is good in maintaining the surroundings as it's still developing Good place for one day travelling, congested roads, slippery slope.... Finally to the god,, hara hara Maha deva
My honest review after visiting the place on 1st October 23 with my 85 year old mother. 1. Travel : Excellent till you are on NH 44. Misery starts as soon as you leave the road. Road to place is in a horrible condition now. Avoid taking fragile / old people. Too risky / adventurous for two wheelers . 2. The statue is still not complete. But the sheer size and location mesmerises you. 3. Local arrangements :PATHETIC: I sincerely request the management to give a small thought about old/ physically challenged people as many were there and many more may be coming . They have to walk more than 1 km to reach from parking place . Pls allow older people to be dropped near the statue. While old people were being denied any help I saw one VIP car with VIP and his family along with police escort car were allowed till the foot of statue. INDIA can never come out of VIP culture. 4. Local volunteers : They were very rude and don't know how to handle public. Please tell them to be humble. The lady near the Shivlinga was pushing people to go on side. Come on we have travelled 85 kms from Bangalore and you are chasing us away. 5. Commerce: Three flowers and a 100 ml water was INR 50 and One coconut with three flower was INR 100 . In my view this was way too high for many people. Pls leave it to them to donate what they like. 6. Conclusion: Good ride away from city and good natural scenery . However I could not get the divine feeling which I was looking for.
