He believed in the oneness of God and preached universal love and harmony. After his death, his followers built a samadhi, which is a sacred place of worship, where his remains were kept. The Kabir Samadhi is located in Maghar, a small town in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is believed to be the place where Kabir took his last breath and merged with the divine. The samadhi is a beautiful marble structure that has been built in the Mughal architectural style. It has a dome-shaped roof and a spacious courtyard. Inside the samadhi, there is a small room where Kabir's remains are kept. The room is decorated with beautiful paintings and sculptures that depict his life and teachings. A place where you could see literally written on the wall that KABIR IS GOD. A VERY SERINE AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO VISIT. Though this place have historical importance but the community frictions made it merely a tourist place.both the Pandits and muslim families are sitting just to earn.the real purpose of visiting the sties of such importance can only be achieved if after visiting such place the visiter may revise the teachings of the Spirtal GURU but none of such environment is there.people are wondering without any respect like MELA. Best place at Sant Kabir Nagar district. The temple and mosque of Sant Kabir das is situated here. Lastly Sant Kabir das is reached here. The temple and mosque are the good designed. The space over the temple is very large. So many people are walked and gather here for morning walk. The river aami is passed near it. So many temple are present at the place. The local people are gathered here for walking and bathing in aami river. The large campus have more space. So many tree are planted here. The whole area is covered under shed of trees. So many sants are lived here.this place is good for tourism and for family.

Blessed to visit Kabir Ji's samadhi. From my childhood I read about Kabir's doha in textbook and learned many things.was fortunate enough to visit Sant Kabir Nagar and touch the feet of his samadhi.

This is place of Sadguru Kabir, the 15th-century mystic poet. When sadguru left this mortal world, fragrant flowers were found in the place of His body. The flowers were divided between His Hindu and Muslim disciples. The Hindus and the Muslims built two memorials here side by side and kept their share of flowers in them. In recent time this place is well developed and tourists all around the world visit this place.

It's historical religious death place of Sant Kabir who don't believe in any religion that's why here you find both Hindu shrine and tomb as Muslim representative. There also a library in which you find lots of good slogans and poems of Sant kabir. Beside it you find newly built Gurudwara which inaugurated by P.M. Narendra Modi.

Good place to visit,Maghar is beyond religions.maghar is 27 km far from Gorakhpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Kabir, the 15th Century mystic poet from Kashi, is buried here.He was loved equally by Muslims and Hindus, and on his death both a mazaar (tomb) and samadhi were built by the Muslims and Hindus respectively. His mazaar and samadhi stand side by side. An annual festival is held here on Makar Sankranti 14th January.
