Sadanam Ladies Hostel - Girl's Hostel in Kollam - Kollam, India

Lived here for a few months. Food quality is quite average, not that clean of a hostel either. The rooms are very old and dusty. But bathrooms are kept clean which is a surorise by itself. Had lovely roommates and because of that other problems of this hostel didn't faze me that much. Might be a personal experience, but in my eyes the staff were quite rude to students especially with disabilities, except for the main people in the office. All in all, I loved the people there, but hated the hostel.

I stayed here for 1 and half yrs and had a lot many bitter experiences...food quality is so poor and the staff ( especially warden) behaves very unpolitely to the students...they treat us as if we are staying there on their mercy...zero guarantee for ur life...even if health issues occurs to the inmates during night they won't take any measure and we had suffered a lot due to this....not at all recommended

Food is adjustable but once we recieved wire inside rice and sometimes they also serve old food that are spoiled and when we complained they said "it happens in your house also right".Rooms where so old but now 2nd and 3rd floor rooms are renovated so its good but the ground floor is still old . For 1 floor we only have one plug connection. The office staff lady is not at all polite or adjustable. That lady takes the evening snaks that are meant for us and hides it and tells us the snaks are finished, we only got the snacks after fighting. They get maintenance fee from us but once when our toilet was stuck she made us pay for the lady who cleans it. The office staff is very partial she gives different mess cuts for different students based on her preference. Since the hostel mates were good it was adjustable over there.

The hostel is located in road side its near to the bus stop , colleges nearby , shops etc Warden is so strict that children are afraid of them .Food should be improved
