Sacred Heart Church - Catholic church in Thrissur - Thrissur, India

Established in 1903 under the Archdiocese of Thrissur, Sacred Heart Church Perincherry is now a major pilgrim centre of the Sacred Heart of Christ. It's located about 10 kilometres from Thrissur city towards South. The Sacred Heart Oottu Thirunal is observed on the first Friday of every month at 10 am (sponsored by devotees, fully booked upto 2027 as of now-2023)In 2010 this church was declared a Pilgrim Sanctuary dedicated to Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ- one and only Sacred Heart shrine under Syro Malabar Church. Ambience is conducive for worship and meditation.
