A somehow good place near Bordi Pahar to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Kangsaboti river. It's 10km from Raipur Sabuj Bazar on the road through the rural villages of tribes. Besides following Google maps also ask local people about directions. Road conditions are good. There is a newly built shortcut road to Sabujdwip which is not shown on the map. This elevated place is in the middle of the Kangsaboti river and a canal, that's why it's named as 'Dwip' or island. It has a man-made forest-like spread on it. You can also find lots of mango trees here. There are few children's play areas and cottages here. A life size statue of Rabindranath Tagore can also be seen. A bridge over the canal marks your entry to the park. You have to park before the bridge. It has a canteen also; chicken pakora 8 pieces 120/-, egg toast 40/-, tea available. The park entry fee is 20/- per person. The whole area is somehow maintained, there's nothing special to rate 5*. Besides the staff's behaviour is not that good. Still you can spend some quality time with your family, friends or loved ones. Smoking and alcohol is not allowed.
This green island is a beautiful island in the lap of nature. You will enjoy coming here, the green trees on one side and the gentle breeze of Kangsavati river on the other side. Google map is not very convenient in this location, so you need to take guidance from the local people. Means of transport get your own or hired vehicle. There is a very beautiful resort made the govt of west bengal, you can surely stay for the night and enjoy the nature.
This place is very small but well decorated. It is situated in a very remote area and road condition is very poor. This place is not so good for any trip. Waste of money waste of time. But this place is ideal place for lovebird to spent quality time in a peaceful environment. Some cottages are available here to stay.
It's a beautiful place to visit near Kangsabati river...It's around 15km away from Raipur,Bankura. It's ideal place for 1 night stay in a extremely calm, serene atmosphere. You'll get a marvellous view of Kangsanati from the eco resort. Try to visit in monsoon.
This green island is a beautiful island in the lap of nature. You will enjoy coming here, the green trees on one side and the gentle breeze of Kangsavati river on the other side. If you want can spend a night here at the resort, you have to pay extra rent.
It is one of the favorite places for the nature lovers as well as for a perfect weekend getaway also. Though it can be visited at any time of the year, the best time is considered to be the winter. The place is sure to mesmerize you with the varied landscape of hills, dense forests, and waterfalls. The tribal people add to the general scenic of the place. There are different activities such as trekking and rock climbing are offered on the hill which is sure to test your adrenaline rush. If you want to start your journey as a mountaineer then this is the perfect place to start. Recently, the place is also becoming popular with a lot of migratory birds coming in the winters. It is also a paradise for photographers.
Perfect Green treat for eyes..loved this place..but the road towards the resort is little bad..dont go with google map after reaching Payraguri..ask locals, toto drivers for exact 4 wheeler road towards the resort..
This beautiful place is an island of river kansabati or Kasai in bankura district. For weekend holidays to take rest in the lap of the nature and for children it is a joyful destination. Rooms are with all fesilities, open space with lash greens ...if you are a good swimmer you wish can take a beautiful swimming experience in the Kasai river. You can move to Bardi Pahar nearby. From kolkata this place is around two hundred fifty k.m. Mukutmanipur is twenty five kilomiter distance. From kolkata you should go with your car. Road journy is also enjoyful as village road conditions are good now in west bengal. We also visited Panchmura village for famous clay craft work and to take a study for this traditional craft warker. Staffs are good and co operating all the time at sabuj Dwip. Cost of daily food is reasonable but you can't expect burgers or Zomato online delivery at this remote place. I love to go again in summer days.please maintain silence so that you can catch the melody songs of so many birds. In the winter as well as in the rainy season this place is a unique destination for city dwellers like us.
