Sabarimala View Point - Tourist attraction in Gavi - Idukki, India

The stunning panoramic view of the holy Sabarimala temple if you hike for 15mins is a visual treat. The place is serene and you can breath the fresh air. This hike is a must while you're in Gavi. Entry is restricted and prior booking with KFDC is required to visit this place.

This view point from gavi gives you a long distant view of sabarimala across the mountains across the meadows far far away...if there is mist then it's a more beautiful....its only a 10 minute trek up ther and we had cows sabotaging our ways however guide said that we can expect other prowlers there..

Good view point to get glimpse of famous Sabrimala Temple of Tamil Nadu. You will need to trek for about 1-2 Km to reach this point but trekking is easy and takes only about 20-30 minutes.

Good view and cool wind. You can view Sabarimala temple complex from here if the weather is good without mist. You need to do a small trek to reach this point. The guide from Green Mansion will take you to this view point.

Great location to site elephants, Indian gaur. If lucky may be even a tiger. View will be stunning.

Very peaceful place

Too cost for this place.. 1800 for day package within 3 hours they complete the program. Need to idle for whole day

Gavi is a hyped tourist place with not much to do/see there for the high cost per person that the forest department charges. The Sabarimalai view point is ok, but not spectacular.
