It was a quintessential cafe with an aesthetic vibe that was a love at first sight kind of feeling. The food and coffee was amazing. Our barista was friendly and really polite. I hope to visit it again in the future.

Must go place when you are in manali. Iced coffee is very much refreshing and berries white chocolates are also delicious. Also berries shake are good. Owner is also polite and welcoming.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming cafe situated in Old Manali, managed by a lovely couple. It's true what they say, sometimes you have to pay a little extra for a truly remarkable experience. I'm going to miss this place seriously when I leave Manali...best cafe I've been to & spent long hours working in, in India! Such amazing ambience, so calm & soothing & conducive to thinking & writing my research, or sketching in my drawing book! Such good coffee (& Abi, who is one of the friendliest baristas I've ever had the good fortune to interact with, even serves matcha latte), especially latte, iced latte, mocha, iced mocha, & such AWESOME cakes (we tried 3 types of cheesecakes, chocolate cookies, banana bread, coffee ganache cakes)! DEFINITELY coming back here whenever we visit Manali Such a quaint, lovely place with such a welcoming, friendly owner & a warm atmosphere

The ambience of the restaurant is fab. This is just next to the River Beas. Location wise very good. However the food was not great. This place is primarily for drinks and ambience. Very instagrammable.

I really liked it here, lovely attention to detail with the layout and design, there's a nice little bookshelf too. I had poached eggs with avocado & tomatoes on toast -- yum! Followed by their biscuit base chocolate tart which was dark and rich. Coffee had a very robust flavour and the watermelon juice I had was very well made too. The only slight downside is the Manali bridge traffic outside, I wish the authorities would ban vehicles from this part of town! When I went there wasn't a menu, you ask what's available, that would be my one suggestion, to have a blackboard or online menu at the very least. Highly recommend checking these guys out!

All desserts were delicious! Very recommended! Coffee was good as well. No more outdoor seating near the river.

SABALI (OLD MANALI) has stolen my heart. From the taste to the cozy feel of the Cafe to the hospitality provided by abidal and his wife with a welcoming smile always around to a brief menu where everything was drool worthy. Their brownie is the best I've ever had from the gooeyyy chocolate to the perfect sweet, it was bomb. Even the lime cheesecake was worthy with perfect sweet and a citrusy zing. We tried their cappuccino and Vietnamese iced coffee, which definitely got me a reality check cus I never expected from a small Lil place in old manali with barely any manpower to beat any big coffee houses in delhi. This couple deserves kudos for maintaining this place and for the fact that they are able to serve such a wholesome experience up there in the hills. We went there again the other day and even my friends who do not enjoy sweets were a fan of those brownies and the carrot cake. We also tried the cafe mocha and carried with us their home-made almond chocolates, which are again worth tasting. Don't forget to order in advance for their counters run out of stock with a blink of an eye I so remember ordering my second brownie as soon as I saw someone eyeing for that since it was the last piece. Cheers to this beautiful couple who are also great humans the way they talk and serve with a big smiling face their nature is the testimony to the great food they offer: I wish you both great success and do wish there's a way in the future where we could get SABALI to delhi and give the famous big chill Cafe a run for their money.
