A simple local restaurant famous for its special Biryani. Biryani is accompanied by many other food items. Their Chicken Biryani and Beef Biryani are must try. The restaurant is located inside a market area, so the parking area is less. Like all the other hotels it offers, it gets very crowded during the afternoon hours.

Visited to taste their famous biriyani but it was over by the time we reached. So tried the normal meals which was quite reasonable and tasty. The quantity of rice and the sides dishes provide makes us feel complete and happy. Trier fish and chicken fry which were also very good. Felt that the fish was over fried and was crispy. Chicken fry was good but I prefer to have the marination go inside the chicken too. Bought some snacks for evening which were very good.

Beef biriyani is the one of the must try item here.. Chicken biriyani is just average not bad ..

Wonder place with a nostalgic fell seems like it has been in busines for half a centry or so... Had tea early morning along with bonda( more of an onion vada) and in the evening had banana fritters (payam pori) and onion pakora (ulli vada)

THE BEST BEEF AND BANANA FRY It's located around 1.5 km from railway station and 4-5 kilometres from KSRTC bus stand this is the best place to eat in Alleppey. The place is locally known as 'sadikkante chayakada' (Meaning Sadik brother's teashop) is around 40-50 years old and it's a hit among the locals. The place is located in the market area and they start business from early hours. Pathiri (rice flour pancakes) and the beef is one of the best combination here. Must try is the banana fry with the beef curry, also the mutton and parotta. The food is really good and the staffs are polite and warm. The tea here is really good and I ended up having 2 at once. The shop is a small place with basic seating arrangements and wash. You might as well feel you walked in to a shop which is from another time period. The food has no compromise here though, it tastes just right. Cost for two as of Oct 2021 for a nonveg breakfast or dinner is 300-400. I must add, it's such amazing people there.

Chicken and beef biryani is authentic dum. Biryani mostly will get over by 2:30 pm in a normal day. You may have to wait for your turn to get seat. It's a normal old restaurant so customers should to be flexible as much as possible to adjust situation. Majorly in seating , cleaning and over all atmosphere .

One of the best dishes here is perotta and normal beef roast. They also have perotta and beef kurma it is also superb. For breakfast and dinner this is one of the best places at bazar. Also we have so much tea options coffee options we get a special drink known as sulaimani which is good for digestion. No parking facilities. But the customer service is very good. There is usually a huge rush during 10:00 a.m. , so we have to order as early as possible to get the food.

Beef biryani here is a must try item . All days are crowded, especially at afternoon. Half and full biriyani and single chiken biriyani is also available here. Beef biryani __90/- Chicken biryani -130/-
