S2 Hotel & Resort (Tour Operator) - Hotel in Satjelia, Pakhiralay - 24 Paraganas South, India

Their behaviour is not up to the mark. I asked them to change the bedsheet after a whole day long, they said they gave us white cover as it's a symbol of peace so we might take more care using this. They gave us knowledge but did not change the cover. They have no geyser in ground floor, while there was a room in our ground floor they are to carry geyser water by ourselves and to provide in the first floor if we need it then we have to carry it by ourselves. So so do not go for this hotel at least.

We are staying here for 3 nights and I already wish that it ends soon. Rooms are not in good shape. Every room has some problem or the other. Thankfully, there are boat rides from morning till evening everyday. It helps in reducing the pain. I am told that it used to be a great hotel earlier. I wish they improve soon enough.

We were a group of 34 persons checked into the hotel after pripr intimation more than a month. Still toiletries are not kept in the rooms and one had to literally request for everything. Towels and pillow covers are not clean. ACs do not work many of the rooms. Toilet seat broken in one or two rooms. No hot water available because central heating system conked off. Courteous staff but unable to resolve issues. It is recommended to avoid the hotel.

The rooms are quite good and the service is also good. This hotel is nearest to the main channel of the river. The staff is also good. Rooms are fully air-conditioned but sometimes the air conditioner doesn't work properly. Other than this, it is a good hotel to spend your vacation in.

Rooms are clean, service is good and the location is execilent

Well located, just opposite to sajnekhali forest. Has own jetty. Rooms r enough for 3 even 4. Adjacent to pakhiraloy bird sanctuary. Not well maintained. Service not ok. I had my own pantry at boat so cannot tell about food availability and quality.

S2 is a very nice hotel to stay. It is in Pakhiralaya island under Gosaba subdivision of South 24-Pargana. At present the hotel S2 is maintaining only Lodging system and they have tie-up with some tour operators who arrange food of their own and which to be taken at a separate dining room outside. No room service available. The hotel is a three storey building having 30 room ( a/c & non- a/c)more or less in total. Hotel is well furnished with hot water facility and supply mineral water for drinking purpose only. It is learnt from the hotelier that before " Ailla" a thunderstorm few years back, they had their own tour operating system. At present they are recovering from the disastrous which they faced during " Ailla". They will start tour operation of their own after overcoming this loss. They have also own jetty for ferry services. But that is not well maintained at present. That is my experience for two nights only. As we don't have any opportunities to stay during day time. In day time we had stayed in steamer only along Sunderbans. Thank you.

We visited the place in Jan. The rooms are good .The food quality is average and so is their service. But nonetheless their location is good and so is their evening entertainment program.
