A tie up of ruthless parents and greedy management. For cureing the illeness ,may 100 rs tablets required. But they admit them of parents sake and there profit. They charge high amount of fees for small problems. And inject sedative drugs before leaving hospital. So the patient become emotional less for months or years , and revive very slowly. There life will get spoiled. That not a big deal if there parents are rich orelse it ruins others life with no getting back to there normal version. May they become humble and simple but not natural anymore. If poor parents are admitting children's there , they are the most terfic fools and life spoilers of there own child
Last year November month we came here for posting..we are Nursing students from Puducherry(KGNC)..and we has posted in SH hospital as a part of our study..we a group of 100 student stayed here a 1month and it was really a wonderful opportunity to study psychiatric nursing there..the hospital is good and maintained well and the staff are very friendly. even the patient are so nice and friendly we had lot of friends there . I remembered playing carrom in Sabastien ward with patients..and these are my beautiful days of my life..my frst time to other state(e.i Kerala) we stay in the nearby hostal. The hostel warden is also friends .His name is Mr.John. He is so friendly with us..and atlast I also miss the chapel prayer..and canteen.over all we had a wonderful experience
I did my MSc psychology block internship at S.H Hospital and gained some of the most valuable lessons of my life. About all, it helped me develop my diagnostic skills. Gave a clear understanding about various psychopathologies and encouraged indepth discussions on various topics along with case conferences.Yes, the institution is strict when it comes to maintaining decipline and accomodation isn't great. However, this internship really helped me to push myself from a comfort zone.
Very bad service. I have never experienced such an under rated service from any other hospital. The condition of the patient who is being admitted to the hospital is really unpredictable. My mother was admitted there for around 2 months. Her condition was very pathetic when she got discharged. She was unable to walk for around 1.5 months. Finally Ayurvedic medicine healed her and bring back to the normal condition.
If you want the best for your loved ones, do not seek treatment at this hospital. I was admitted to this hospital twice (3 + 1 month) for treatment of addiction. Mentally and financially my family and I were devastated. Nothing else happened. Their only goal is money. Please note.
I did an internship here in the month of May 2016. I was treated horribly by some of the sisters in charge and especially my guide, Ms Deepa T Gopalan. f you are thinking of doing an internship here, don't. I have seen Ms Gopalan make several interns cry, and the teaching and guidance provided to interns is completely inadequate. Another one of my guides, Mr Anil P Abraham, was a fantastic counsellor and excellent guide - he is the only reason why I decided to stick with it. If you are thinking of sending a relative or friend here, please find some place else. Some of these patients have been staying here for years and are brought in repeatedly, which goes to show how ineffective their treatments are. My friend's father spent years here with no improvement before succumbing to cirrhosis. The way that patients are treated are horrible, no wonder this hospital has been charged with human rights abuse before. They are treated like animals at worst, and prisoners at best. I was only a BA student then, I didn't understand the level of cruelty back then. Now I'm a PhD candidate and I cannot believe that the Kerala Government still allows this institution to operate. Canteen has good food, most of the nurses are very kind and genuinely seem to care for patients - but that is the only good thing I can say about this place.
Excellent services especially Mr.Jobin (consilar)and nursing team proving patient delight. That means excellent hodpitality Dr.dani sir and doctors tem rich experienced. Personally I will refer this hospital to required personals. Over all satisfied. One suggestion good to be improved. Regards///jiju George
This hospital management is fraud they don't even properly check a patient. All they provide is lot of vitamin tablets and they don't even provide proper medical care for psychiatric patients. All they however wants is money . So please don't go to this hospital for any treatment because it will be a waste of money .
