Very nice place to spend the evening. Munroe island has nice mangrove forest and the best way to explore is taking a row boat. Don't miss getting into shallow water in the middle of lake!! Courteous boatmen- just need to pay approved rates..

It's a beautiful place. The scenery is specially spectacular during the evening hours. Boating service starts at around Rs. 600 an hour. A lot of small walkways for a stroll. Recommend to visit on weekends.

Went on an evening for a break a nice place to hang around sit peacefully for a while grab a tree and bite then stroll around the country side ways Can see kandal frames(mangrove trees)in the shape of inverted "U" Can see lot of boats up and down with fishermen and tourists too A great place to visualise mother nature

Quiet interesting place to enjoy with family especially in evening.The place is very calm and one hour boating facility with cost of 500 rupees for 7 people.boating is safe and worthy ,normal and pedel boats are available .The boat will move through the narrow channels surrounded by mangrove forest and also we can find some fish farming areas. Never miss the boating if you are there.

Nice view. Small boats are available for a lake/village tour.. It starts from this point and go through the kandal trees and then you can visit a few villages. You can spot a lot of jelly fishes, resorts. The village visit is very good, you will have to go under a lot of small bridges and narrow water ways. You will also visit a few fishing places. Dont forget to take some fish foods/biscuits. The only negative is many boats do not have safety jackets..

Great Place. Munroe Island is a hidden pearl in the backwaters which is composed of a cluster of 8 islands. Each of them is separated by small water channels and lakes. Kidu place. Nice boating space. Calm and quite place. Beautiful place

It's an amazing place to visit with family. Packages are also available include canal boat Safari, keralaite meals with fresh fishes arranged on local family.it's a superb experience. Canal Safari is also Soo much exciting. Cool village atmosphere cure all worries and gives you full fresh mind.
