SCS Autonomous College, located in Puri, Odisha, established as a government college in 1944, is a higher education institution that offers UG and PG courses to students across streams of Humanities & Social Sciences, Accounting & Commerce, Science, Teaching & Education, and Business & Management Studies. Institute offers total 36 courses. This is the best institute in all over Puri district. Here we go for laptops which provided us by state honorable education minister Sri Samir Ranjan das in 2019. Peaceful environment for students and teachers. neet and clean class rooms. my review one of the best college.

After 10years I visited this place. My College . My 2years +2 career completed here.after visting this place i recalled all my college day memories.Now college condition is so bad. This college needs proper care & facilities.

I am here doing Integrated B.Ed. But, being honest, there is need of good faculties and facilities. * Under B.Ed. dept there are five rooms with projectors and one of them has advanced sound system also. But, during the last 3yrs of my journey I have never seen a single teacher using them. Hope, I will find someone in 4th year using the accessories. Wastage of govrnment's and students' money. * Throughout the year, most of the time the aquaguards are not working properly. There is always drinking water issue. * Sorry for boys, but there is no boys common room. In old buildings, boys washroom is horrible (better stay away from it, might lead to diseases due to lack of sanitation and cleaning). In new building, most of the time college use washroom for staffs only. * Most of the department have contractual faculties. There should be appointment of better individuals as lectures. * In every department they have smart TVs, but they never use it for educational purposes. They don't even watch TVs, I mean the TVs yet haven't connection and are full of dust. Most of the TVs are of SAMSUNG and they are smart ones. * Resolving the academic issues or examination issues is a slow process. It might be due to the University's issue, but it is terrific slow. * There should be better security in college. I have noticed many students doing smoking, chewing tobacco etc inside old buildings. However, no doubt government college, so you can't expect much moral and loyal things. But, with self study you can.

I attended S.C.S college for a semester and found the experience to be average. The professors were knowledgeable, but the teaching methods could have been more engaging. The campus facilities were decent, but some areas could use improvement, such as the library and student center. The administration was helpful when needed, but there were some communication issues that caused confusion. Overall, S.C.S college is an okay choice for higher education, but there are definitely areas that could be improved upon.

Now I am standing on the campus of a famous college in Odisha, named after the great astronomer and star gazer Samanta Chandrasekhar. Beautiful campus, enthusiastic new generation, excellent infrastructure it has. I hope it excels in academics too. I am glad to visit the place.

College and hostel infrastructure are good in condition. But the hostel food is pathetic. Shreeparna Girl's hostel food is worse than anything. The hostel management committee should take appropriate actions to improve food quality because it's not free, students are paying Rs28 for every meal. God knows what they exactly do with the money of 14 Thousand Rupees per year and also charging 2 Thousand Rupees every month for food. How can a student concentrate on studies and stay healthy physically and mentally if they don't get the right nutrition.
