Excellent hotel, the behavior of the staff is unmatched, the food is delicious and there is a separate dining room for meals. In short, it is a beautiful place to sit on the balcony and watch the wonderful view of Ichamati river. Although the room rent is a bit high, everyone's behavior is excellent.
The rooms are very neat and clean, the food is awesome, and the staff is very polite .
Wonderful experience while staying in this property!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Compact rooms, food standard, services could be improved to cater fully occupied hotel, views from certain rooms are exceptional
Location best . No electric kettle in room . Shower is jammed , bath with balti. Thali menu items are limited . Very light dal in thali . No extra items can be ordered. In Breakfast dal served with luchi too small container . In room ac was chilled . No wifi detected on 2 nd floor .
The worst stay in my life in a hotel! No amenities and service! Too loud as the hotel is renting its ground to outsiders for loud picnics while they're blasting music whole day. Terrible below par rooms. Food not bad but very basic. Rooms are dirty and linens are horrible with stains, holes and smell triggering allergy and asthma. Day receptionist is not helpful but room service and restaurant staff are better. The only upsides are that they have a lovely dachshund dog, some nice rabbits and ducks, and it's very close to the river.
Best 5 star hotel service and room decoration within 2.5k in taki
The room was fine, AC was working fine. Food quality wasn't that great and was definitely overpriced. The staffs needs a lot of grooming. I could give couple of examples which clearly shows the staffs are not at all trained for hotel industry. If the owner of this place is reading my review then please try investing in staff training sessions. All the best. At least I would ensure not to visit this hotel anymore, however I liked Taki as a simple place for spending a day or two at the max.
This hotel's location and food is just wow. Try desi chicken and mutton there .. its amazing.
Staffs are friendly, restaurant serving is slow, but its ok .. not a big deal.
Rooms are basic, but new and clean .. You can almost lean into the river fr
Beautiful resort. We stayed at the topmost floor with an unobstructed view of River Ichamati. This is my first time staying in a Sonar Bangla property. Would love to visit their other properties too in future.

It is one of the oldest and most traditional temples in the city Taki. According to many locals, the temple is about 400 years old! However, the Natmandir in front of the temple was built much later. The idol of goddess Kali in the temple is very bea

We were here in Feb, 2022, we stayed in their 4 bedded room with a balcony facing Ichamati river
Though rooms were clean, but it was bit small for a 4 bedded room, however, the view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful.

A very beautiful place for a day trip. You can enjoy the beautiful Ichamati River from the Rajbari Ghat. The breeze is very mesmerizing. The opposite stretch of land is Bangladesh. And most importantly, the people of "Taki" are very friendly and help
I'm not someone who likes to spend a lot of time outside. But in the early morning I visited Taki with my two friends and the sight was really fascinating.
I never went outside of India and for me seeing a different country was too exciting. From ta
If Taki is your December picnic destination, don't miss the opportunity to visit this serene Jamidar Bari. There's an entry fee of Rs. 15 per head, but this token is a mass contribution to maintain the Heritage site. Support the local Heritage, visit
