Ancient temple of Rukmini Devi. Beautiful carvings surrounding the temple. Nice spacious and peaceful place to visit. Usually not so crowded, darshan would take not more than 30 minutes. Looks great in moon light
The Rukmini Devi Mandir in Dwarka is a disappointingly neglected temple, especially considering its historical and cultural significance. Despite its beautiful architecture, the temple's surroundings are unkempt and the structure itself is showing signs of wear and tear. The lack of proper maintenance and upkeep is evident throughout the complex, making it feel like a missed opportunity for visitors seeking a meaningful spiritual experience. With some TLC, this temple could be transformed into a truly special place of worship and reflection.
Very beautiful temple. This is bit of a neglected temple given its historical and religious importance. The architecture and carvings are very good but are getting ruined by every passing day. Ample of space for parking in front of temple campus.
It is a place of great importance in history. It is said that due to shraap by Durvasa rishi, rukmini Mata couldn't accompany lord dwarkadhish to dwarka. They had to stay saperate..the temple gives good vibes. Do visit to fulfill your wishes.
we visited this temple today... situated close to the main road.... adequate parking facility is available....a lot of devotees are waiting for darshan...Ma Rukmani is the main diety...a very old temple....smaa one
This is the place of rukmini mata. The temple us outside of dwaraka city. Mandir area is big and calm. You can get water as a prasad here. There is history of durvasa rushi, krishn and rukmini.
An exquisite architectural marvel dedicated to Rukmini Devi awaits your exploration. A visit to this temple is an essential component of your Dwarka journey. The temple boasts ample parking space, ensuring your convenience. Situated approximately 3 kilometers from the main Dwarka temple, it stands as a testament to devotion.
Legend narrates the separation of Lord Krishna and Rani Rukmani Ji due to the curse of Durwasa Muni. This temple is a poignant symbol of their bond, evoking a sense of devotion and reverence.
This temple is also renowned for its unique jal daan ritual, where devotees participate by offering water. This custom adds a layer of spiritual significance, fostering a connection between the divine and the human spirit.
Completing the pilgrimage to Dwarka is truly realized upon a visit to the Rukmani Mata temple. It holds a special place within the spiritual landscape, beckoning those who seek to immerse themselves in the profound stories and devotion that define the legacy of Lord Krishna and his beloved wife.
This elegantly carved temple is dedicated to Hindu goddess Rukmini (Lord Krishna's chief queen and we can also say the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi in Dvapara Yuga). It is around 2km away from the main city Dwarka. You can witness the beauty of carving of human figures & elephants and sculptures of gods and goddesses. Inside the temple, there is a wonderful marble idol of Goddess Rukmani, with four hands holding Shanka, Chakra, Gada and Padma in each hand. It is believed that your darshan to Dwarkadhish temple is incompleted until you take darshan of Goddess Rukmini. I must appeal to the authority to preserve this ancient heritage as the carving of the temple is being ruined by passing every day. Moreover, beautification of the place is also a need of an hour.
Although all places of God deserve five star rating but nowadays the thing missing at our famous temples is peace. There is huge rush, you are being pushed around. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev is different on this aspect. It is ideally located on sea shore, i
Ancient Shreekrishna Temple is closed in the afternoon 1-5 pm and a few more specific time slots throughout the day. Hence, plan your visit accordingly. Devotee crowd management is the worst. Avoid weekends and long weekends. Surroundings are noisy i
