RUKKA DAM - Tourist attraction in Rukka - Ranchi, India

First of all, let me tell you that Ruka Dam is located in Ruka village, near the development of Ranchi. This is a very attractive place, people come from far and wide to see it. And here people also come to celebrate picnic and here every Sunday a large number of people come to visit. There is no charge to visit here, it is absolutely free place. And the environment here is quite attractive if it is to be said. And one specialty of this place is that every time someone or the other definitely comes to visit here. When I went, I liked it very much.

I recently visited Rukka Dam and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. This place truly gives an island-like feeling, where you feel like you are on a tiny, secluded island surrounded by beautiful blue waters. It visited on a nice sunny winter weekend. It is a perfect place for picnic and to just relax in the quiet embrace of nature. The tall trees and lush green grassland surrounding the dam provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. What impressed me most was the variety of people I saw enjoying this beautiful location. Couples, groups of friends, some families all came for picnics and leisure activities. There was plenty of space for parking our four-wheeler and we easily found a spot to set up our picnic. In addition to the natural beauty of the location, Rukka Dam also had two small stalls where we could grab some snacks and cold drinks, as well as ice cream. It was a nice touch to have these conveniences available for us. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting Rukka Dam if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot in nature. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some quality time with loved ones. I had an amazing experience here and will definitely be returning here again and again. One important thing to note is that, it is a beautiful location, it's important that we take care of the environment and ensure that we don't litter the area. Best place for picnic, or group party and hangout with friends, family, tha views of inside of forest looks amazing.

A good place in the lap of nature. You can spend quality time here provided you are accompanied by good company. Though, there is no official fees or charges, but you have to pay Rs50 for entering the vincity of dam to get a closer look and enjoy the picnic . The place is full of dirt and garbage due to ours irresponsible behaviour of polluting the things. This is sad. The roads are not of concrete. You have to go 4 kilometres from main service road (NH-20) to go dam. You have to carry your own foods and water as nothing is available there.

Awesome view. Small dense forest near by, ideal for picnic. Easily accessible by road. fresh fish available in morning. Connected by ring road, suitable for bike enthusiasts.

Good place to visit the view is good..in the winter mornings it is quite foogy...picnic spots are there and few shops are there..no washrooms are available.. so be cautious..the approach road is not very well built...just to have a view and for picnic spot it's good..

Best place to chill out with friends and family. The place surround by nature. There are small island which have dense forest, which make the place more beautiful. The best time to come to this place is during winter and rainy season. Also be alert from locals because they ask uneccessary money for the vehicles without giving any tickets.
