Best accomodation and food , also great ambience to study

My daughter had stayed in this hostel for around 8 months. The owner and his wife were really very caring and the place was completely safe especially for students outside Kerala.. There is pick up, drop and lunch delivery to and from the coaching Institute.. A very nice experience for my daughter.. . Thank you very much for the care and love she experienced there.

Best place for medical PG aspirants. Calm and peaceful ambience for preparation. WiFi, cleaning and laundry services provided without fail. Delicious food. Staff who care like family. Any complaints or queries are resolved without a delay by the owners. Friendliest hostel probably, be it for the management, staff or inmates.

One of the best hostel for medical students,a very good place to study ,safe secured and comfortable...and must say about owner uncle's and his wife's support and help in all small matters . especially people like me from other state where we find difficult to adjust with language and food ;they check on us whether we are doing well and consider our suggestions to make any changes.they constantly work to keep up the standards and maintenance of the hostel .Suresh sir and shiny mam.it was a really a pleasant stay. Thank u so much for making me feel home.

Rugma residency is situated in Athani, very close to Govt. Medical College Hospital Thrissur. I stayed here for my medical PG preparation after mbbs. During my stay period the inmates were mostly medical graduates preparing for PG entrance and some mbbs students. In addition some non medicos were also there for short stays. Needless to say, the food and accommodation facilities are outstanding. The staffs are very cooperative and friendly. They provide fully furnished single /double rooms with attached bathroom. Each student will be provided with study table, chair ,bed and shelves. Separate wide study areas are there. Free wifi is available. Filter water is available all the time. The have staffs for washing and room cleaning. The main cook is Mr Sreesan who is a blessing to this institution. Warden aunty looksafter all the inmates and solves immediately issues if any. There's no strict timings. You're free to walk in or out anytime. For essentials there's a supermarket at walking distance. Parking is there but less spacious, There's no separate library/ reading room. Rooms are non a/c. it's located not in an easily accessible area. Most of the nearby restaurants deliver food to there. It's owned by Mr. and Mrs. Suresh. The couple together brings a lot of positivity and happiness to this hostel environment, very cooperative and friendly. They visit very frequently and double checks the security and needs of inmates. Thank you sir and madam for those good days.

One of the best hostel experience you could ever have. Felt more of like a family. Everyone from the cook to Suresh Sir himself took care of everything. We were provided with everything that we wanted and every complaints were resolved asap. Plus it also provides a good studying environment. Food and other commodities were also top notch! So, if you are looking for a hostel to stay in Thrissur Rugma should your first choice, writing this from my personal experience! Ps: I m not Paid for writing this. This is a genuine review!

Excellent hostel . Any problems notified to suresh uncle and aunty(owners) are solved very quickly. Warden(pushpanty), cook (beenanty and sreeshettan ) cleaning ( indirechi ) and owner suresh uncle everyone is so considerate. Food is very delicious and tasty . Study atmosphere is perfect. And all the rooms are convenient. There is no time restriction. If you happen to come late , you can call the warden and she will open the door . Cleaning rooms and washing clothes are all done by the staff.

Hi everyone this is Dr. Priyanka from Kolkata. I was a resident at Rugma Residency for 2 years (2018 & 2019) while preparing for NEET PG. Words arent enough to describe the warmth of this place. All I would like to say is that this place doesnt feel like a hostel at all, because its nothing less than home. The coziness, the comfort in the rooms, the quiet environment for studying, the food, the staff, the service, everything is more than perfect. An ideal comfortable place thats absolutely necessary for preparing for such a big exam. I being from North India, never felt like I'm faraway from home, All credit goes to the hostel owner Mr.Suresh Babu. He is indeed a rare species who is so very much dedicated to taking care of each and every person staying in his hostel, even if you fall sick at 3am at night, he'll be there to take you the hospital..! And he deserves all the respect in the world for this. Its mesmerizing how he listens to everyone's plea at any time of the day, and tries to correct every dilemna within minutes, no matter how big or small the matter is. He has earned my trust with his sincerity and honesty. Also, this hostel is the safest place for girls, probably in entire thrissur, once again thanks to the owner! If I get PG in thrissur medical college, I would go back to Rugma Residency without a second thought..! This is a shout out to all girls looking for a place to stay in thrissur, Rugma Residency is the best one, you can trust my words since im not from kerala, so i have an unbiased opinion. And once again, thanking Suresh Ji from the core of my heart for tolerating all the troubles that I have given him for 2 years and yet taking care of me with a smile on his face! I am sure no one can do this job better than him, since its not at all easy to run a girls hostel with such crystal clear perfection. May this hostel grow more beautiful in the upcoming days.
