Stopped here on my friend's recommendation on our way to Ajodhya Pahar. And I am quite thankful that we did. The restaurant is surrounded by lush green fields with cows grazing. I was welcomed by the wide open spaces. That, of course, won me over because I live in a town in the outskirts of Kolkata which is nothing but an urban jungle. The serenity and calm of the outside was the USP of the dhaba for me. However, having said that, I also liked the back garden they curated. There are also swings and slides in the back garden - something to keep your kids occupied. I love swings myself, so I took interest to it too, almost immediately. We ordered aloo Paratha and tea for breakfast and that didn't disappoint either. We loved enjoying the quiet breakfast amidst chirping of birds and occasional train whistles. But one things that is a constant problem in Purulia is the availability of clean toilets. Ruchika Dhaba too didn't pay much attention to keeping their toilets clean, an amenity that is a given for diners. Had they managed to maintain clean toilets, I would have rated then a full 5/5. But alas, clean toilets in Purulia is still a distant dream...
Awesome food. Great quality and quantity at reasonable prices. Easily visible from highway. A road side dhaba but the food quality is like a restaurant. Washroom was very clean. Premises were clean and environment friendly.
One of the best Family Dhaaba In purulia. Food quality is best tasty. Reasonable price of all foods. Good accomodation. Stuff behaviour is also good. Good decorations of the Dhaaba.
Place is cool and hygienic. All basic facility like toilet, bathroom and small garden is there. If you expect mouthwatering food , you will be little disappointed. Foods are just ok. Staff are not much professional and trained. Overall you will get just ok food but priced slightly high. Thanks to hygienic environment.
This resturant(dhaba) is very good. because food is cheap and healthy. and also the place is awesome.I go there many times.
One of the better family dhabas around Purulia. Serves good, decent food at very reasonable rates. The ambience is good for a dhaba. However, the open-air part is greatly refreshing after the sunset. Serves great tea and coffee (mention sugar preferences). Lots of parking place. Waiter services are decent, but needs further consistency.
